It was designed to be mainly used at night , one reason the numbers are hard to see is that my PCB guys made 1.6mm thick PCB;s and they were supposed to be 1.2mm so the wheel is higher than designed for . BUGS man I hate them , I thought I had all of this stuff worked out >>

BTW the top voltage will vary from unit to unit they are rated for 3.3 volts to 5.5 volts but may go higher on some units.

I am thinking about putting a slot in the middle of the opening to see the numbers better ?View attachment 28315

That would be a great idea. With a little slot, the light might just shine enough on the numbers to still be used at night as intended (and since it's definitely an "out and about" mod, being useful in the dark is important). I can kind of see the numbers if I look really closely (I see how the thickness of the PCB interfered), but have to kind of count the bit of white I see from the white line to figure out where I am. A notch would be a great help when out and about when you can't focus closely to see the markings. However, if the next batch has the right PCB thickness, it would probably make the notch unnecessary.

And, by the way, great product. Loving it (it was here when I got home from a road trip last night). Can't believe how lightweight it is while still feeling solidly built. Great job and congratulations!

Keep up the good work Mike. By the time I'm ready for one (late spring) you should have that little beauty perfected. :)
