Let me first say that I've finally finished reading thru all 36 pages of this thread. Fantastic thread!

I got my VV 3 about 2 weeks ago from fasttech (ordered 9/30 got it 10/15). I went from a 1000 mAh Joye Ego-C Upgrade to this. (had the Ego-C for about 2 weeks before deciding that I simply had to have a VV/VW PV. I absolutely love it. I typically will range between 6.5-8.0 Watts and just go. I have been using primarily Kanger EVODs or Kanger Pro-Tank 2 Mini. I recently received a couple Aspire BDC with glass from www.myfreedomvapes.com... Ordered one glass with black aluminum sleeve and one with a stainless sleeve as my EVOD was giving me a burnt taste pretty often with my thicker juices (Boba's Bounty and Gorilla Juice from avejuices). Still trying to find my sweet spot for wattage on this, but absolutely love it. With my EVOD and ProTank, the vapor production blows the Ego-C upgrade out of the water. The Aspire BDC glassomizer i've been using hits very well, but hasn't been producing the same thickness of vapor for Boba's or Gorilla with the EVOD or Protank. The pull is a little tighter with the Aspire, so I had to re-adjust my vaping style (now it works great). That being said, I just got a burnt taste from the Aspire for the first time after 4 straight days of vaping it pretty heavily with 100% VG juice. (Note, I love the aspire bdc as it is glass, has dct and doesn't leak. GREAT flavor.

I never could really get adjusted to the iClear 16's as I started with the EVODs and Pro-Tank Mini on my Ego-C. I would get occasional leaking from the iClear 16's (and I assure you, as good as some of these juices taste in vapor form, they taste that bad in liquid form).

Anyway, just thought I'd drop in and say thanks for getting this thread started, and now that I'm caught up through all the posts, I'm ready to post more... I'm one of those people who hates posting in threads that I haven't read from the beginning--one of my OCDs as I hate asking questions that have already been answered earlier in the thread. Now I just need to decide if I should order the MVP that is $30 off... my girlfriend would kill me for spending even more money on vaping than I already have (though she can't really complain, as she's still LOVING the Ego-C Upgrade she's been using since I bought both our setups back in mid-September... she hasn't had an analog for over 2 weeks, for me even longer - see signature).

Attached is a pic of what I'm currently using regularly. IMG_20131028_100858_558.jpg (You'll notice that the Aspire BDC Glassomizer is about the size of a Mini Pro-Tank --barely wider than it -- but looks a lot like the EVOD)..

Well, that was far more long winded than I initially anticipated. Happy Vaping! :vapor:

I have one of these being shipped to me can't wait for it :)

Would you have a picture of it connected to the protank mini 2 ? As thats the setup I want to run ,does it just screw straight on or is an adapter needed

No adapter is needed from what I've experienced. Never had any issues with the connection on it at all.

Question: I use several evods on my Itaste VV. Yesterday I attached and EVOD I have been using and it would not register with the Itaste. Tried it on an ego and it works fine. Tried it again on my Itaste and NON for ohm reading. Works fine on an ego VV. All other devices I attach to the Itaste work just fine. Any clues why this one works on other batteries but not my Itaste? No biggie that it does not work, I just love the feel of my Itaste and don't understand why this one particular EVOD is not working on it.

TIA!

From what I've read previous in this thread, it sounds like the post isn't making contact. I know there is a way to adjust with a little effort, but I'm not sure how to do it myself. Some of the more skilled people on this thread I'm sure can assist you with this adjustment.

This happens to me once in a while. I think it is QC with the Kanger coils.

Check the white gasket on the bottom of the coil where it screws into the Evod. Make sure it is seated correctly. Then, screw the coil back into the Evod and get it good and tight. But not too tight.

Your V3 may have a firing pin pushed down too far. Lifting that pin a bit will fix the problem.

I just broke mine by not holding the silver connector when disconnecting .. The circuit board came out partially and I'm pretty sure I tore a wire because not nothing is firing and the led shows this when I check my resistance... Any fixes out there for this? I crushed and don't know what the warranty is for these things but I wasn't even pulling hard and it just came apart :(

Yes that's how it happened. I had a different charger at work and pulled to disconnect and the guts came out. Now I find out I'm not alone I suppose because Innoken is coming out with an upgrade to the v3 that has 6 rivets to prevent this from happening. I tried moving the pin but I give up and will try to get a replacement from the vendor... If not I'm thinking maybe the MVP 2? Not sure if I can get used to the design but the battery life will make up for it... But I really did love the vv3 :(

I feel really badly for you.
I had trouble w/ on from another vendor and I had to FIGHT to get a replacement. It tooks days of emails and documentation. Mine was DOA.
I finally got one but I was just worn out from the brawl. I am NOT a fighter and usually I let things go, but mine NEVER worked at all.
I hope vapingme takes good care of you.
From the fact that they added more rivets to later units I would think the manufacturer has admitted a problem.
Keep us posted.

Does it work with ego threaded clearos/tanks/etc? Or does it need to be 510?

There are actually two models of VV3. The one that takes the "pen cap" (I forget it's name, but it's a subtle difference if there's any difference at all!) is 510 only. The other model is 510 and ego.

And yes, with the pen cap model a 510 to ego adapter is needed for ego threaded toppers.
