My VV is on the way back to Desert Vapes for the dreaded thread issue. $3 to send it back. :(

There is NO excuse for not being able to produce proper threads!!!

innokin needs to bump up the QC!!!

BTW, mine was pearl chrome, so it has nothing to do with the color.

I am also of the opinion that it isn't the length of the eGo threads, but something else.

Something else? What is it you feel is causing this?

A spring loaded pin type set up would help the contact issues but my K t-2's still won't be able to breath on these threads. This is the only device I have ever seen this air flow problem on.

Edit: PCR I just read back a few post and it sounds like you had some wonky threads. For the most part we are talking about a different issue here. It is the inner pin getting pushed down to far and not making contact or in the case of my T-2's the ego threads blocking the air holes.

Oops. Sorry about that. My VV was tight to thread on a brand new EVOD, and it won't even start threading on two of my mini Protank 2 clearos. Hopefully, my replacement will be ok since this issue bugs the crap outta me.

It seems to be a hit or miss thing with the machining at the factory. I had the same problem in reverse. mini protank 2's worked perfect, but t3's, aro's, and ce's wouldn't go on at all. The 510 threads seem fine, and the 510/ego adapters did the trick. Having to pay for return shipping is just WRONG!

Hi All,
I had a juice 'accident' last night and my button is sticking...does anyone have any suggestions on correcting this problem? It sticks and keeps running but if I 'bump it' ( the button) it stops...
Has anyone successfully degunked their button before?
Thanks:ohmy:

That sounds ugly! I think I would dry pure iso propel or how ever you spell it alcohol sparingly on a Q-tip with the deice inverted button facing down. Work the alcohol in a little bit then wipe it dry with the dry end of the Q-tip then blow on it for complete evaperation.

Good luck!

I would use electronic contact cleaner and spray the switch. It will not harm the switch. I use it often on my motorcycle to clean crud from switches.

I actually own 2. Both chamelion. Been using Aspire BDC ego style clearos on them. If you haven't tried those out on the iTaste you're missing out.

I was actually just looking into those to try. Think I'll pull the trigger on it now for sure after your recommendation. I have a brand new PT2 and it has a terrible chemical taste! I had to stop vaping it as much as I was forcing myself to try to make it work. I did some research and it sounds like somewhat of a common problem. Guess I'll try taking it apart, soaking and washing everything in soap or something, and they also said to flip that grommet above the wicks?? Ever hear of that? For now, even with my iclear 16's I have, my cheap 1st vivi nova single coil is giving me the best vape and taste.

That was my experience as well. I tried so many different 'toppers' and either got flooding, gurgling, hard pulls, bad tastes, only good for one tank, etc, etc - and I vape a simple 80PG/20VG vanilla. I became very frustrated at the time, and then tried switching to cartos/tanks, and am still using them. Something like an IBTanked tank, and either SMOK or BOGEpre-punched cartos. Bad carto? Toss it. Start tasting funny after a few tanks? Toss it. Start pulling hard after a week or two, toss it. Usually I get 1-3 weeks per carto, and if you shop around looking for sales, I've paid at much as $1.20 each, and as little as $0.84 each (usually buying more than 10 at a time).

Anyhow, it's something to consider, I know some other forum members are also carto/tank users (ECF is how I learned about them).

Best of luck to you!

What's everyone getting for a recharge time?? Mine is about 4+ hrs. Innokin says 1.5hr, lol.

My old Joye eGo 650's were about 2.5hrs.

Try using a more powerful wall-wart. Or if you are plugging the USB cable into your computer, you're only getting 500 milla-amps. The device sets the charging rate, but only up to the limit of what you're plugged into. Wall-warts go from 500 milla-amps up to a bit over 2000 milla-amps.

You're confusing watts and amps.

No disagreement here! I've been using Karto Tanks nearly exclusively for the last couple of years, which is NOT to say that I haven't tried nearly every single clearo known to man and womankind. I keep 'thinking'..... this one will be good. The only one so far that has been even close to acceptable for me has been the Aspire. Having said that, when I want a real and satisfying vape (which is like.... welp, always), I opt for a karto tank. IBtanked, Phiniacs, Splash tanks, Uniques, Bedazzled, Kryptonite and on. Boges and IKV kartos are pretty much a solid and consistent choice.

Sincerely,

Your kween~

I do prefer cartos, I get more flavor, more vapor, and warmer vapor. But with some of the juices I vape, they don't last more than a day or two. I always had bad luck with carto tanks leaking everywhere, plus most are just too bulky in my opinion.

At home I vape Boge cartos, but when out it's the Mini ProTank 2. Not quite as good as Boge cartos in my opinion, but much more convenient when out. I have to clean and dry burn my Mini ProTank 2 coils every other day, and they usually last a week or so.
