Try using a more powerful wall-wart. Or if you are plugging the USB cable into your computer, you're only getting 500 milla-amps. The device sets the charging rate, but only up to the limit of what you're plugged into. Wall-warts go from 500 milla-amps up to a bit over 2000 milla-amps.

So does this only have to do with the charge time? This wouldn't effect how it vapes afterwards right? Like it don't give you poorer battery output if you charge from you computer all the time? I charge from my computer 90% of the time...

On another note, I know you aren't the operator for the VV V3, but.. do you happen to know when the battery is completely charged? Not in the sense that the light goes off, that is obvious. I mean numerical value, after hitting the + and - button. Mine has been at 4.2 for like 2 hours. Is 4.2 the max it will charge up too?

One more question, please don't kill me. :D . Does you vape quality decrease with this device as your battery drains from green to yellow, to red?

Thats all. Thanks

Hi Way,

If the source - wall wart, CPU port - can't provide sufficient power, it will increase the time to reach full charge. It won't affect the VV3 output. Using in pass-thru, no matter which source, will increase the charge time, since each time you fire it, you pull the charge down a bit, of course.

4.2 is typical for fully charged, although it may briefly show a 4.3.

Regulated mods are supposed to keep the set output across the duration of charge, so it shouldn't fall off. Some are better at that than others, and the VV3 is pretty good at it.

I did notice a bit of a lag when the device was approaching red. It's one of the reasons I went to the MVP.

The itaste vv3 is great as long as you maintain it in the green. Cap't Shay has a great little thing you can do. He runs his vv3 in passthrough off his MVP. Stick the MVP in your pocket and run the cable to your VV3. Best of both worlds...... :D

My VV is on the way back to the vendor....

$3 for shipping, and $1.65 for the shipping envelope....

:(

I just hope they replace it with one that has good threads. Otherwise, I'm not gonna be a happy camper.

Vape on!!!

The threads on the VV3 and MVP2 are nothing to brag about. Since they are not well machined I'm very careful when screwing on a tank. The first 2 turns need careful attention to prevent stripping or cross threading. Just take it slow and easy.

That's the weird thing..... I am very careful about cross-threading, so I'm sure it wasn't me. I have bunches of eGo threaded batteries, and switch clearos at least once a day (usually more). I have only had one other battery (KO 650 mAh), that had buggered theads, and it made me so mad I got rid of it.

I refuse to use a 510 adaptor to compensate for poor manufacturing. Maybe I'm too picky.

;)

WoooHooo! Received my VV V3 today and so far LOVE it! I love the way it feels in the hand. Got the Pearl White and already thinking about ordering the Chamelion one :p

The chamelion is purdy. Especially in sunlight. It's the one I kept when I migrated to MVP's.

I've been using Karto Tanks nearly exclusively for the last couple of years, which is NOT to say that I haven't tried nearly every single clearo known to man and womankind. I keep 'thinking'..... this one will be good.

I went through 5-6 different clearomizers in my first 5 months of vaping.

I then decided to try an IBTanked cartotank (they come with GREAT instructions for beginners) and never looked back!!!

Yes, if I am not mistaken, I too myself "thought" I could notice, (not 100% sure though) a dropoff when getting at the bottom of the yellow going into the red mode. So most of the time if I am not home I try to keep it plugged in just so I always get the best vaping experience with no dropoff.

I could definitely tell. But it's an 800 mAh battery. I don't notice this with the MVP. Of course it's a huge cell. So even when it's close to discharge, it still has a stiff enough charge in it. Of course I've never taken my MVP to red, so that could be it as well. After two days, I barely get yellow, and that's during the weekend. During the Week I never fall below 3.8 volts after two days.

At first this would last me all day easy, but now it goes yellow before the day is up and i can pretty much run it completely out nowadays and I am still a "new vapor" I don't even vape like a beast yet, only a couple months in.

Lol, I remember coming to ECF and posting excitedly that my 650 ego lasted 2.5 days. Now, I go thru 3 650's a day.

I'm a fan of the IBTanked tanks now. I moved to cartotanks in December. Figures I find something I like after stocking up on clearos :)

My girls in their tiaras! 19mm IBTanked.

I would suggest a backup and don't run it out each day. When my VV3 hits 0ver 200 puffs I put it on the charger and use a second devise.
