I read so many positive things about IB Tanked that I just had to order one. The flavor difference from cartos and a tank to a clearomizer are said to be so much better.

Not only flavor but also throat hit and vapor.

And...NO maintenance (head cleaning, coil rebuilding, dry burning, etc.etc.etc.).

Flavor drop-off, vapor decrease (mine last about a month)...no problem...slip in a new less than $1 carto and you're off and running again.

Ugh, no maintenance? That sounds heavenly right now...

I would agree with you, and many would agree with you. And yet, there are tons of people who continue to buy and use every form of clearo out there. Like everything else vape related (life related?), it's always a matter of preference. Clearos are certainly easier and more plug 'n play, but for me using a carto in order to get the taste I so enjoy, is worth the little bit of extra work.

A friend loaned me one of his IB Tankeds and I am really loving the difference in vaping. Deciding what size I'd like for myself and am ordering one. :)

So where do you find cartos for less than a buck?

I buy them for a buck on the ecf marketplace. People are always selling them in fact I just got 20 in the mail today and only paid 23 shipped. A few people right now are selling 50 to 300 and will sell different amounts.

Sorta yes, but it is a higher cost for the cartomizers. Can't clean or dry burn like a clearomizer (or rebuild). Don't get me wrong, I am vaping my SID with an IBtanked right now, so I do love them, just cost a little more.

I would like to know that also. Got some off the classies for a good price, but have not found any at venders that low. Fess up and tell us where...

If you have resigned yourself to the idea your vv is toast, I have one possible last resort fix. It has worked on cell phones my ex dropped in the hot tub.

Turn the unit off and lay it in your freezer in an exposed but safe spot and leave it there for 2 or 3 days. The freezing and exposure will "freeze dry" it and if the electronics were'nt damaged by firing it while it was wet, it may be good to go. Take it out of the freezer and allow it to slowly return to room temperature which should happen overnight. turn it back on by 3 clicking it WITHOUT any topper or tank and see if the menu sequences function normally before trying a topper and vaping. It's worth a try, anyway.

Good Luck!

If you're going to try this, put it into two zip lock bags before freezing. Squeeze as much air out of the first and seal it, put into the second and do the same. Then DO NOT open them for at least a couple of hours before opening. The cold battery warming up in atmosphere will just cause condensation. Inside. And that's what you're trying to get rid of. Ever have a camera lens fog up when you come in from a cold day? Condensation...

I got mine on e-bay as well but from vapingtown. They have like 8000 positive reviews and 7 negative ones lol. Can't wait for it to get here!

I ordered from vapingtown LATE Saturday night (Sunday a.m., really) and got my device this morning... fast cross-country shipping. I bought the starter kit - with 5 iclear 16s - and everything came in perfect order. Loving my new vv.

I bought two from them. Super fast shipping and delivery. And they work perfectly.

I recently purchased an iTaste vv 3, upgraded from a Halo Triton setup. I purchased the larger kit from a local shop, little more money but I like supporting local business, especially the vape shop in town, spend way too much money there. The juices in the VV, with the power tweaked, are so much better. Some are nice with a warm vape, while others better with a cooler vape to let the flavor stand out.

Either or, I love this thing. Glad I gave up the analogs almost two months ago and started on this new adventure.

Just saw this--good way to get a backup, maybe? Free vv 3 if you buy 4 of their juice options. White only, it looks like.

ITASTE VV V3.0

Funny, I was trying to get pricing and all I get $0.00 as a total. Glitch maybe?

On another note, I got my VV yesterday and I'm having trouble running my AnyVape Davide BDC on it. I have to keep it at 3.3V or I get a horrible burnt flavor. On my generic ego, it tastes fine. I'm not sure what the deal is. I'm leaning toward the Davide being the problem though. My VV works great with my iSmoka BCC Mega. I'm befuddled for lack of a better word.

I've been using iClear 16s and they leak like crazy. I NEED something better. Also very little flavor and I'm using juice from Ahlusion & Mt . Baker Vapor.

Also can someone explain the difference between the cartomizers for IBTanked? Smok 1.7 ohm XL vs Smok 3.2 ohm Single Coil 2 Hole Standard, for example.

On the IB Tanked website you have the option for wider bottoms and longer tanks. I have the IB Tanked 19mm XL and it will take most 45mm cartos. Right now I'm using the Smok 3.0 ohm single coil with the 2 hole punched. You can order them at IB Tanked. Whatever tank you pick out you will have the option of several cartos for that tank. They make ordering it very easy. It fits on my VV3's and on my MVP2. Picture of it on my MVP below. LR is generally 1.8-2.2 ohm, and SR runs from 3.0 ohm up.
