Thanks Jeff and David. David has my answer. I go through a 650 in a day. I'm guessing if I had to charge the VV every day I would get 9-12 months max. Sound right?

Ah you meant overall life span I gotcha. Not fully sure but based on David's post your math seems very close to what you would expect.

Yes, but remember that that's average. Quality can vary batch to batch on the battery itself, affecting the number of charge cycles.

Sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not.

Sometimes the light bulb with say a 700 hour life burns out the first time you turn it on, but it's rare and doesn't mean the whole line is bad.

I just ordered mine last night from vapingtown! Have been eyeballing it for months so excited to get it! :D

Gonna change your opinion on vaping. It really is that much better. Possibly one of the best features? Set it down and it doesn't roll of the table :) It is a big step up from an ego.

Haha yea that's true. I've been bringing my mvp2 to use after my VV V3 dies but the VV is perfect to use white driving. :)

You need a cig lighter to usb adapter that can be picked up almost any where. Then you can charge and vape on pass through in the cab. But still buy another back up :)

Another MVP for backup and a VV3 for a backup to the backup.

A couple of months ago I would have said get another MVP. Today, I would say get a VV3. I love my magic box and if I could only have one vape, that would be it. What I found however is that I use the VV more. It is easier in the hand and carries better. I would never give up my MVP but the VV is a great companion vape for it.

How long does the battery last? Weeks or months? I have a bunch of failed egos and am trying to decide between a mod and one of these. At least with a mod I can replace the batteries.

If you are burning through ego's, I would recommend an MVP as your next mod. If they are failing because they are fragile, the MVP takes a beating and keeps on vaping. If they are failing because you are vaping them to hard then the MVP has the Mah to stand up to heavy use for quite some time. It is bigger heavier and cost a little more but hit has a huge capacity and is rugged as a Brahma Bull. Perhaps a MVP first and then the VV.

So far the longest lasting VV I have seen reported was about 9 months. It is a great mod and I have had one for three months now and it is vaping strong. There are plusses and minuses with it but one thing is for sure, it vapes the heck out of any ego.

I just got the MVP and it is a bit much for me to take on the job. I love it for home use.

Some of the egos are from 3 years ago and they possibly were not as good as now or the opposite, lol. I dropped a new one on concrete last month and it wouldn't charge. Another from about 6 weeks ago seems to not hold a charge as long as the others. If I have to spend 6-10 every 2 months for these, or get a ~20 twist or spinner, then the ~26 for a VV sounds good.

Yea I got that now but it's much nicer to not have a cord connect while I'm trying to drive around a refinery. I usually will switch to my mvp2 and charge my vv v3 in my work truck when it dies. But the convenience of just throwing it in my bag and switching to a 2nd vv v2 sounds nice :p.

Well, sadly I am no longer a member of the VV3 club as I have passed on my VV3 to my girlfriend to get her into variable voltage/wattage. She loves it though and what makes her happy makes me happy, so it's all good. Besides, I've got my eyes on a 6-rivet model in the future ;-)

(also I mostly use my SVD anyway)

Looking for a carto-tank to use with the vv3 but wondering about odd size mismatch, making the vv3 look like a hotdog wearing a sombrero.

Any recommendations (with pics would be great if you have them)? I'm having visualization issues.

Here's a "picture thread" of various IBTanked cartotanks on different mods (maybe 30% VV3's).

[After I discovered cartotanks and how superior they were to clearomizers I ran across IBTanked and they're all I use now with my VV3's.]

What other kinds of tanks do you guys use with it? I have looked at the IBtanked and plan to get one one day, but for now I'm still on clearos :) I have evods and mini protanks, looking at the aspire BDCs.

Like you I have mini ProTanks which are excellent BCC, the ProTank2 and the iClear 16B which is a BDC and gives a nice vape.

I looked at a lot of carto tanks and IB Tanked is a high quality glass tank.

Indeed, must keep her happy.

And I'll nominate you for honorary membership in the VV3 club.
