Oh I will for sure. How long after it first started acting funny did it die though? Days?

Within a day. But from googling the problem with that light pattern it seems anyone who had gotten it has ended up with a dead battery. Some people it dies within a day and some a week. I'm not saying for a fact that yours will die but just saw your post and thought I'd comment on my experience.

What is the least I need to know? The kit came with 5 clear tanks, and I bought two kits. Also got 2 Kanger mini tanks for my sour juices.
What is the lifespan of my attys? I do know about cleaning them, but what else do I need to do?
And let me add that I got off analogs within 5 days, and have been "clean" now for 10 days. Loving it and don't want to mess up.

Hi Penny, welcome to ECF, and congrats on such a good start to your journey to being a non-smoker!

Coils' life time... lot of variables, it's hard to give a definitive answer. Thick, dark, sweet flavors tend to gunk coils faster than thin, light ones. vaping power can affect it...

I mostly use bottom coil clearos, but life is similar. I try to clean them after every couple of fills, taking them all the way apart and rinsing it all under hot running water. I'll dry burn if needed. With bottom coils, I generally replace the flavor wicks, and just use 100 % cotton yarn for that. (Top coils don't have flavor wicks.) Kept clean, maybe a month or two? Hard to say, as I have several in use at any given time, but they can last quite a while.

The biggest problem is when the coil gunks up from normal carmelization, and a good dry burn will take care of that. Over-zealous dry-burning can "pop" and destroy the coil, though!

Well, first off, congratulations and welcome. Second off, relax, your doing the right thing and in the right place to help you.

The attys in the iclears last a Looooong time. Dry burn every couple of tanks and they lat a month or two. They are a nice little top coil atty but they do give a warm vape (that I like). Some people love them, some not as much. Toppers are highly individual and it will take some time until you find the one that is right for you. With ten of them coming, I hope you like them. In the future I would order things like toppers no more than two at a time.

The minis (MPT?) are polar opposites as far as vape. They are bottom coil and offer a cooler vape. A LOT of people on here like them. Trying these two types of attys will give you an opportunity to try some different styles and help you discover what you may like the best.

Welcome Pennylynn and congrats. Posts above have answered your questions. As capt.shay said the two toppers you have are very different. In the first couple months for me & hubby we used top coil and loved them. Found maintenance to be easy but grew to prefer a cooler vape. Seems funny when reading about bottom coil toppers most advertise a 'nice warm vapor' but my experience is the opposite. There are tons of how to's on here to help with maintenance of all things vape. Check you tube too. Vaping can be a hobby for some (me for instance) as well as an alternative to analogs! Just remember if you get frustrated, reach out. Ive had great luck with the help found here from super awesome members!!!

Congrats again, just keep moving forward!!! Oh yea, wanna also say, vaping tastes so much better than cigs, finding a juice you adore is important. Once you find a topper that satisfies your desire to 'smoke' focus on getting something yumny that'll satisfy your taste buds... I had to try, try, try til I found something that was mostly all day vape. Some are easier to please than others. Ny husband, he can vape most any fruit, berry or candy and me-only found s few I like and I stick with em!!!

Yes welcome and have fun with your vaping. What I tried with my Kanger ProTank coils was to put them in a small pot of water and boil them. I tried this with just a few coils and even with the silicone caps on them. After I gave them a day to dry out and then I removed the long stem. Amazing but the flavor wick was as white as can be and after removing it I put the coil on my old twist battery setting it at 3.2 volts. Two short bursts of power had them glowing red. Some turned red on the first burst. I put the flavor wick back on, center stem and was done. Tried it and out and it worked perfectly. So for the past month that is how I clean my coils. For some reason boiling the coils does no harm at all to them.

Most likely. Innokin will alternately brand their products for someone else. Overstock e-cigs appears to be the only distributor of this product so it is most likely one that Innokin OEM'd for them.

Either that, or they were factory rejects that were sold out the back door. That has been known to happen. I personally prefer to think it's the former rather than the latter.

A dry burn is a series of short pulses of the battery (usually 3.7v or lower) on a coil that is devoid of liquid, in order to burn off any residue and gunk that has built up. There is an age old thread here on ECF that advises the exact "how to" on dry burning. The thread is 3 years old now, but the info remains as fresh as the day it was written.

Your attIEs will need to be replaced when they do.... meaning it's anyone's guess as to how long they'll last. Many people will advise against dry burning as well. It's all experimentation... for all of us.

No, I haven't looked at the big torpedo thread here. Never heard of them and I'm sure many others who use this thread haven't either. Perhaps you can paste the link here. Checking Google I've found two dealers who sells them for $70.00 which is way over priced.

Dry burn was referenced above, so I won't carry on about that. Other than to say that done right may take some practice, but is easy and effective. If you don't want to, don't. Just keep all your old heads since you may want to later, or run into someone who'd appreciate them.

By "atty", I'm thinking the coil, with wick, that's inside the tube. The tube should be good for a very long time. The atty, coil, head - all names for the same thing - will need replacement, frequency depending on flavor, mix, vaping style, and so on. They're pretty cheap, so it's a toss up on rebuilding them. Some of us do, for various reasons. Some don't, for convenience.

So just look at the packaging of what you got. I'm guessing IClear, but there are several models of those, and I don't use them. But just get new heads / coils for them, and change them out when the vape starts to go away or get funky. And save them for later. As you get more used to vaping hardware, you may decide you want to clean them.
