I got a Lea about a week ago, and have only used it for perhaps 6 hours of run time. Since I typically don't like using a passthrough, I hadn't tried that until last night, and then only briefly. Seemed to work fine. But now, I can't even turn the thing on. Suspecting that maybe it just needed to be charged, I hooked it up to the A/C charger. Instead of doing the three blinky thang, it gives me an angry, rapid-fire, smallish red blinks - nonstop - at which point I unplug it. Anyone seen this happen? I didn't experience what you demonstrated in the video.

I'm sorry to say it, but that sounds like a fault. I've never seen my Lea do anything like that. You might try it with a different USB cable and/or a different charger just in case it's not the battery, but I suspect you got a bad one. If you've only had it for a week, you should contact the vendor you bought it from ASAP.

:( Sounds like your battery may have gone tango uniform, I hate to say. I agree with VeeDubb...contact the vendor and have them sort it.

I have had a Lea for about 3 or 4 weeks. No problems to date. Not saying bad thinks couldn't happen - but not to me - to date. Some type of "batch" number system sounds like a very good idea to me. Hopefully your second test will not result in similar problems of the past. If so, bad "batch" in prior test. Personally, not looking to manufacturer for any replacement of a device that seems to be performing acceptable. But would be good to know that the manufacturer feels a responsibility for the safe and satisfactory performance of the device they throw at the market. If vendor or manufacture "sorts it out", would be nice to know what the "sort" was. If solution is "don't stand on one foot while connected to an ipod" - I'll deal with that without further issue with vendor of manufacturer.
