Yeah, I took out my fuse kit to run the kick with just a bare post, no need for a fuse or collapsible spring when using the kick as it has all the protection needed.
My new 2012 button isn't firing every time with the kick, very sad right now.
I never use the fuses and I stopped using springs in the bottom when they kept collapsing on me and having the GG heat quickly, I've run nothing but a post for 6 months on the advice of other GG vets.....
I know strange huh, obviously the old style must make a better contact with the post for some reason?
Still think the 2012 buttons are getting a bad rap. I ordered 2 and both are working flawlessly. I did have issues with my 2011 buttons (probably dirty), but those issues went away as soon as I put in the 2012 buttons.
Now my GGs instantly fire until the batteries get too low.
Yeah I take off the SS button and put my old style brass button on and it fires and hits flawlessly. I don't know what the problem is.
Unfortunately the Aussie distributor seems to be getting rather unenthusiastic about getting spares, the 2012 button has never been available and button springs haven't been available for ages the same with 95% of parts Heck he's not even answering emails about parts to be replaced under warranty
