The L2 510 from strictlyejuice. I wanted to be sure if it was a Joye product or not so I emailed them the link to this website and they denied they are JOYE products. They have an announcement on their website about the new atomizers...

This is one of the e-mails I received from Joye:____________________

Thanks!

I wouldn't want to buy one thinking its real, that's all, because some people are. Just wanted to post it.
I'd buy it to compare it to a real 510 though...

hmmm funny a china manufacturer cloning a china manufacurer..... if it's a clone is irrevelant ... what the need to know is.... the performance....

does it perform like the "original" 510 atty?
maybe it performs better, does anyone know?

because i know the BE112 (801 clone) performs better than the 801 (my opinion and others as well)

Also really IMPORTANT factor... the sites that sell these "clones" are they reputable and reliable... if any of my questions ar no then I would understand a sad face hehe

Per emails I made to them today, the atties were being delivered today, she said probably later this afternoon. When ask the price she quoted me $6.85. I'll give them a try for that much! I like alot of the aspects of the new design. I did read in another thread that the resistance is a little higher and these are the calculations I came to:

Stock Battery
3.7v with 2.5 ohm = 5+ watts
3.7v with 3 ohm = 4.5+ watts

5 volt mod
5v with 2.5 ohm = 10 watts
5v with 3 ohm = 8+ watts

If I'm not mistake 2.5 ohm is close to a new Joye 510 atty, at least the one I have here. From what I read from the other thread from a poster that had bought one of the L2s the resistance was a little over 3 ohms. Correct me if I'm wrong, Power=Heat. Sounds as though performance may be lacking but only by a little. If I'm off on my thinking, excuse and correct me.

Joker,

I think you're on target.

My experience with the SLB 510 clone attys (previous test.. previous vendor.. possibly/probably the same atty style) is that they come in at about 3.4 Ohms. They either do not have the supplemental 510 wick.. or it is very small when compared to the Joye unit.

Attys in that resistance range are what I call "901 class" attys. Interestingly enough.. SLB is one of the primary 901 manufacturers...!

Anyway, as you probably know.. the 901-class atty will basically give you a cooler vapor.. probably less vapor production.. but perhaps a bit more "flavor" (subjective). You will also get more battery life (when compared to the Joye atty on the same battery).

My wife is a 901 vaporer.... and she is quite happy with the SLB 510 "clone" attys on a 510 battery. Me... not so much. But I'm a diehard Joye 510 "gobs of hot vapor" guy.

I've got the L2 510 kit on the way. I'll be able to tell pretty quickly if it's the same SLB atty that the others have been selling.

They totally posted it as if it were some new hybrid from a collaboration between SLB and Joye and thats a straight up lie.

Yup, and Joye didn't seem to care for that very much. I wonder how long it will take for them to change their site?

Aside from the growing list of positive postings about them, regardless of whether the poster has gotten the product or not :p (seems there's a discount for doing so) these people seem to be off to a rocky start imho.
