I don't mean to come off as a smart ..., but if you only smoke 5-6 cigs a day. Just quit, don't even pick up a new habit if your nicotine intake is that little.

I don't mean to assume that your addiction is any more less than mine. But surely, you must be able to go for a while without thinking of smoking, since you have only a 5-6 a day habit. Your pack would be stale before even finishing it.

If you smoke lights, and you must have an e-cig, than almost any e-cig will do for you, as long as it provides vapor and mild throat hit.

I'd recommend an RN4081(super mini/peewee,etc..) not that this provides less, but that it's pretty reliable in terms of vapor production and throat hit

Really, though, just quit.

You're off to a great start! You gave us the right info! Do you plan to quit or are you planning to enjoy nicotine for a few more years? Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

edit: if you plan to quit, when? three months, 6 months, 1 year?

Well the ultimate goal is to quit smoking; but i'm just getting started on vaping. I guess I can lower the nic intake to 0 but still be able to enjoy the vape and all the e-liquid possibilities out there. This new world of vaping has gotten a hold of me and I wanna stay a while.
Yes i'm a light smoker; but is there room for someone like me in this world of vaping?

Yes your right; it would be easier for me to quit. I'm just a social smoker to tell you the truth. But for me this is new tech and my curiousity has gone through the roof.

By the way thanks for the recommendation on the RN4081 I will check it out.

well, you might consider starting program now with a goal of quitting in 6 months. You certainly sound like you don't want to increase your nicotine intake levels, do you? Do you want to go to higher levels of vapor and high levels of nic, cause you can here. Or you can chose to hold the line and try to start reversing your exposure to nic. We're gonna support your decision, whatever you decide because we know nicotine is a heck of alot better than cigarette smoke. If you want to try to back away of this habit, you might start down low with an 801 style, it's a work horse model. Or if you want to walk on the wild side, a 510 would take you to a higher level of play, more vapor blow, an 801 is a slower, more calming device. When my 801 acts up I'm usually pulling to hard on it. I'm hot boxing it, 801's don't like hot boxing. A 510, if i'm correct, can take more hotboxing and will deliver more vape. I am getting off nic, I strive for a device that I won't become dependent on. I'm on my way out after 35 years of cigarettes. You'll get plenty of advice here, you have come to the right place. What I wrote above is my opinion, other will have their's.....listen up and take your time, make a good decision you won't regret.......vape on bro!

For a cheaper start up cost, you could also look into a 401. I use a 510 and the RN40841 (the SmokingEverywhere version) and vape on both, altho the 510 seems to draw more like a real cig than the RN4081. The 401 I had from Bestecig seemed to draw too quickly for me but for others it may be fine.

I don't know too much about the 801 or the 901's but I like to have an e-cig that looks like a reg cig which is why I have the 510 and the RN4081 as my primary ones.

Good luck!

I have both a 901 and a 510 personally I prefer the 510 manual. Either one would probably work well for you. The 901 tends to need primer puffs to get it going but it vapes well. The 510 tends to heat up a little more and you would use a bit more juice with it but it gives you more vapor.
There are many good suppliers listed on this forum just make sure to read their reviews before purchasing. Best of luck in getting off the analog habit :)
