Got mine today and here is my 1st impression. The battery has a half charge out of the bag (sorry no gift box here). the first thing I noticed was that the the function buttons are tiny but easy to use. This is my 1st time with a high voltage device and man does that voltage make a difference in the throat hit. It makes no nic juices hit nice and smooth. It's almost reminiscent of a good Hookah. medium nic (8mg) juices didn't show a huge increase in hit with the change in voltage but the 16Mg juice hits like a freight train when you crank it up. This has already shown the necessity to change voltages based on the juice. My atty connection is nice and straight and the threads are nice and smooth. DON'T TIGHTEN THE BATTERY CAP WITHOUT THE BATTERY IN IT! It didn't make a pleasant sound when I tried and I didn't get a snug feel out of it either. The display has a plastic cover over it and began to peel when it got juice on it. The mod isn't as big as it looks and it fits nicely in the Inferno case and I can leave a carto on it and just take off the drip tip. I have to remove the carto to put it in the lava tube case, I really wish that one had some pockets. I do find the loose function buttons to be a little annoying. The bumps on the battery cap are also very annoying as well. I wish it had divots instead like it has on the top. This is a great mod for the price but has some immediate but minor negative points to it. I think I will be very pleased with my purchase. I also love the clicky feel to the firing button.

So in a basic list which includes stuff not mentioned above:

Pros:
-light weight
-Small compared to some other mods
-LCD Display
-You can change voltage as you vape kinda like a buzz.
-LCD doesn't light up every time you press the firing button
-Nice clicky button instead of a light to cue activation
-nice paint job
-feels good in the hands with the exception of the battery cover (see below)
-voltage change feels accurate
-Amp limiter instead of cutoff for over amperage
-power button = no misfires
-good size juice well for you drippers
-voltage lock by pressing +- at the same time
-battery charge shown by pressing power button 6 times
-voltage rolls over. When you pass 6 volts it goes to 3 volts.

Cons:
-The battery cover doesn't get snug if you try to put it on without the battery. It made a horrific sound when I tried to tighten it. It is very snug with the battery in though.
-Battery cover has little bumps and it rubs on my palm when I fire it. It's very uncomfortable
-Lavatube decal is just that... a decal. It will rub off.
-fire button is a little low but it wouldn't be an issue if the battery cover didn't have bumps.
-the function buttons are loose. they sit firm when you press them while viewing the screen though.
-the juice well is hard to clean out.
-does not change voltage to the limit when over amperage occurs, you never know what the true limit is on that atty/carto your using.

Overall this is a great mod for the price. I hope that L-Rider can redesign the battery cap without bumps and use divots like on the top. I would gladly pay for a new battery cap as this is my only major gripe so far.

for the person looking into a better ecig or wondering about a mod or is having a horrible experience. If anyone reading this is wondering if this device is your calling to finally be a happy vapor but have issues with a weak throat hit and consistency then this is what you were looking for. You can dial in on it with ease and fix those juices or atties/cartos that just don't seem to have what it takes to satisfy. Even with those no nic juices you can still attain an enjoyable experience which is great for those looking to kick nic and try to move away from their addiction. This device gives you an all in one new experience. it's able to function like a buzz. carries the features of a provari and is at an affordable price. It isn't big like a mag light and doesn't look like a screwdriver. This is by far the best vaping experience yet!

Ive only had it for an hour and this is what I've come up with, I will give it some time and come back for a better review later.
