* Having the dental hygenist say at a 6 mo cleaning: "Your teeth have stayed so WHITE! When did you quit smoking?" Gawd how I love my whiter teeth!
* Now here's a really weird, yet honest, thing I noticed: far, far fewer nose boogers.

No more burning the dog who ran into my cigarette. No more ashtrays taking up precious real estate on my desk, night stand, car, etc. No more worries about whether I got everything put out completely so as to not set the garbage on fire.

Seeing the relief and joy on my loved ones faces!!!!
Looking at the house we want to buy today without having to factor in "where will I go to smoke".
No longer being the only smoker in my crowd of loved ones and friends.
Looking forward to helping other smokers stop.
Having just lost my job as a result of illness (primarily caused and worsened by 30+yrs smoking) I can now start a new job as a Nonsmoker.
Watching a whole movie without having to run out to light up.
Sleeping through the night without waking up to go outside and light up.
At 2 weeks I smell good, can smell myself smelling good.
Can taste better and taste better-lol.

the taste of a good irish whiskey! seriously a fine spirit tastes so much better without the ashtray breath. also cereal and cashews.
LOL....My story...Last year i was in Romania and in London Heathrow airport there are no smoking areas.So, in order to go out of the airport for a smoke, I GOT A 6 Months VISA for UK...LOL...Just for a cigarette.....

One of the "little" things that has changed for me is that my friends, who still smoke, have stopped smoking around me without being asked.
One big thing I noticed, odd as this may seem.
A couple of weeks ago, the family and I went to McDonalds for supper, and I had a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, as a change of pace from my usual value menu choice. Tasted ok, had the usual oversalted fries and pop.
Now for the odd part.
Went back yesterday, and had the same thing. Right away I noticed something off. Then it hit me....I was tasting the QP/C for the first time in a long time! Other things have started tasting better as well.
Can't wait to get to a BK or Wendy's again.

Not having to worry if I have enough cigarettes to last the weekend. I hated having to leave the house just because I was out of cigs. But out I went thinking I will go crazy if I don't have any.
Not having to "tune it out" of my brain when thinking how much I am spending on cigarettes. It's scary/shocking if you add it up.

Feeling liberated!! It is really good when travelling not having to worry if i will be able to get a smoking room, passing people standing in doorways in all weathers havine their smoke, not getting out of puff going up stairs and a clean smelling home and car.... thank goodness for e cigs
Being able to vape inside and not having the walls in the house turn yellow, or as you said having to go out in -20c weather to smoke.
Here's a bonus, with all the yummy flavours I'm not nibbling biscuits and chocolate all day so weight loss is on my cards, couple that with the fact that I don't get breathless and whezzy when walking, oh and I can run around after my son and not feel like I'm going to suffacate after 2 minutes.
Add that to not stinking, skin is clearer, teeth are whiter and feeling great, I'm never going back to analogues ever again (not even a taste test for me, I just don't want it).
Only downside is I can smell a smoker instantly and that can make my morning commute uncomfortable when they sit next to me on the train but hey, I consider myself a winner here.

Love these stories! I love going out to dinner and the movies now, I didn't enjoy it as much before because I couldn't smoke
