I can breath !
I can run up the stairs a half dozen floors without loosing my breath
I don't get out of bed and cough my lungs out.
I don't get heartburn.
I have much more energy.
I sleep better
I haven't caught a cold or flu in ages.
I can smell things I did not notice before .
Food tastes so good !
I don't smell like an ashtray.
I can vape in the car.
I can vape at work.
I can vape at home
I can vape in a restaurant , bar , club etc.
I can vape in front of my children
I really enjoy vaping . I has become a hobby instead of an addiction.

For all the above I am truly most grateful.

I'm a fairly new vaper since December 19. That was also the date of my last analog. Someone mentioned on this thread way back when that they were giddy about vaping..that's a great way to describe me..giddy and freeeeeee!

I noticed several people told about scary smoking stories. I had one that happened years ago. My husband and I were driving home from a road trip. As we passed through this one city we noticed a horrible smell but didn't think anything of it because of the factories in the area. After we came home and checked the back seat we were horrified and mortified to find out that one of our butts landed in the back seat, burned a hole in it next to the guns and ammo! So thankful we were not blown up or injured. You'd think that would be enough to scare anyone to stop..but no. My husband smoked until about 14 years ago and I quit last December.

Little things in life that changed when I started vaping. I can agree with so many of the things already posted. Here are a few more.

Getting in the car to go to work in the winter and the windows are frozen shut. Oh that drove me nuts.

This summer I'm so looking forward to using the car air conditioning without it smelling like a wild animal peed on the engine. I hope that changes.

I think someone already mentioned computer damage from smoke. We just spent a good chunk of change on a really nice desktop..I know the last one fried because of the smoke. I just didn't want to waste anymore money on computers.

I'm really hoping my husband doesn't have to return to the hospital, but if he does I plan on vaping. It's going to be so nice not to make the long walk out to the garage and then wonder if someone will say something to you and make you leave.

Also, if there is ever a time I will need surgery I won't be upset when they tell me no smoking...such a relief!

Another change, being able to use wrapping paper. I could never keep wrapping paper or cards in the house, especially after I opened them because of the smell. That is really gross to give someone a gift that reeks. Also, I always felt self conscious lending items from our home or even giving them away because of the smoke smell.

And finally...I don't have to lie to my husband anymore about how much I was actually smoking. It was FAR more than he thought. I spent so much time running to the gas station, because I couldn't buy them where I picked up my cartons..the hubby might find out that way. Then hiding the packs where he wouldn't find them. Crazy I know.

What a great thread..and thanks to all for making CEF a wonderful haven! Everyone here has been so nice and helpful. I'm all giddy again :)

Not feeling like a hypocrite telling my kids how stupid smoking is and that they should never start, after just having come in from the rain for a smoke.

Hugging my kids and not being told I stink.

Not stinking

Not wheezing when I lay down to sleep.

Being able to climb stairs and not be completely winded.

And I've only been vaping for less than two months

Not having that disgusting film on the inside windows of the vehicle.
Not having to have the butts, lighter and ashtray positioned, just ready if I 'needed' it in the middle of the night.

Overall, it's the lack of stink:D

GB

I was just thinking on the way home from work that I need to clean that film soon! So much worse at night, and in the rain!

no more running out in the cold or heat to smoke cause i never smoked in my house.

no more sitting at my pc snacking on junk and gaining weight i just grab my butterscotch cookie liquid or maple frosted roll.

15 pounds lighter cause im not eating all the junk and can breath easier and find my self walking more places rather than jumping in my car.

on blood pressure meds and doc says keep dropping the weight and keep drinking all the water i have been drinking i will more than likely be able to stop the meds.

vaping is cheaper than cigs water is cheaper than a soda no longer having to pay for blood pressure meds is WAY cheaper and when i re enroll for health ins next year i can put i am now a non smoker and ins cost goes down.

so all in all vaping saves money and will save your life.

:2cool:

 the only thing i can come up with that is bad about vaping i gave away all the lighters i had we had a storm and none of my pv batteries would fit the dead flash light and i had no lighter to lite a candle.

My energy level just keeps getting better and I don't have to go outside I the cold anymore and my skin is looking better and my libido has increased. My sense of smell has become amazing and i can smell a smker and acigarette a 100 meters away.I now drink maybe 2 cups of coffe rather than a full pot and switched to green tea ...and water!

Thanks,

Ford
