I figuted I would get a clone to compare to the authentic. From looking at the pictures of the clone there are ALOT of differences. I want to see what the performance differences are. I will report back.
P.S. I'm loving my authentic Lucid RDA. This thing is amazing in my opinion.

I got my lucid today and I'm about ready to pull my hair out. I have already lost one spring and I had to switch my clamps around so I could pull my coils out towards the Airflow. Then the bottom clamp is not getting a good grip on my coil leg 8-/ as soon as I go to stretch my coil out and the leg slips right out. I have tried both spare clamps and they do it. Ughhh maybe it's because I'm using a 3x30gx40g Clapton but it's definitely not a tiny coil I am so frustrated right now. I have a feeling larger wire will grip but if that's the case wtf I prefer 3x30gx40g it's my favorite type of fused Clapton
Sorry to hear that. I have 26/26/36 ss claptons in mine an they work great.
Ya I just threw in some 4x30gx38g claptons and the bottom clamps on both sides will not grip the wire properly so I threw a regular 3x27gx36g n90 alien and it gripped fine. It appears it does not grip thin wire well. That is a big BIGGGG bummer but I'm hoping I just got a dud. The performance otherwise is very good...
For the thinner wire you can try folding the legs over on themselves and then tighten them in the clamps before trimming. I forgot I did that with my rectangle wire coils. That worked really well.

I've had my Lucid RDA for a month now and every time I use it I'm still impressed. I've got 2 new RDAs I haven't even bothered to build on yet. A Goon 1.5 and a Rapture. The Lucid has me spoiled. I know Sed8op8 has one. Does anyone else have a Lucid and what are your thoughts?
Still using mine and loving it I was actually thinking of grabbing a second one in gold to rock on a brass dreamer mech mod. I would love to see a single coil squonky job lucid with a vertical..... Anyways what kind of builds are you using in yours. I have been using and having better luck with small framed staples small aliens etc. Round wire worked but this RDA for me really flourishes with exotic wire
I'm running 26x26/36 316l ss fused claptons 4mm id .17ohm at 80 watts. I put all the same coils in a few different rdas to compare them. It really confirmed that, IN MY OPINION, the Dead Rabbit is garbage.
I'm considering a purchase of Lucid RDA, Have same set up for LUCID in a VULCAN RDA, 25ml of juice used per day, So assume the LUCID will be no different.
I put a tc build in the Lucid. I don't use tc very much anymore but I was surprised how much more flavor this build is producing. I love this RDA!
