Okay, I am a newbie, I just went off analogs on July 23 completely in favor of E cig. My hubby bought me a blu pack to help me quit and I did and at first I thought the blu was really great, but then it got less great and the batteries lasted less and less and it was really inconsistent. I would get a good throat hit pretty rarely and the flavor wasn't that great. The cartridges didn't last long and were pretty weak, I got just a bit of flavor and a little vape and a few satisfying throat hits that were really not very often. I began refilling myself and it worked but flavor still wasn't really coming through and throat hits were hit and miss and not very satisfying.
So I came to this forum in search of advice for a better E Cig experience, more like analogs were. I had several replies and one person told me to check out this Magnum Kit, which is a modified E Cig from Nhaler.com. I read a few reviews and saw a few youtube videos and decided to give it a go and ordered it. It cost $75 for a kit which included two batteries, two atomizers, a charger and a pack of cartridges, also another part which goes between the atomizer and the battery that I think is just an adaptor (it is a mod after all).
Keep in mind this review is from a very new newbie. Anyway, I get my kit in the mail. It didn't come with instructions, and I believe it may be meant for more knowledgeable vapers than myself in that way
. So I plug in the charger and charged the battery and put it all together. I then found the cartridges sent along didn't fit my e cig, but the atomizers had blanks (blank cartridges) on the end which did fit so I took the filling out of the ones that didn't fit and put it in the ecig and got.... nothing.... very little vape. I was upset and thought it didn't work so I emailed NHaler.com to tell them that it didn't work. I was bummed.
I am telling all this in my review so that if someone orders one you need to know how to use it correctly. Within about 2 hours, on a weekend no less, Drew called me personally to walk me through how to use my new E Cig. He was VERY nice and patient with me. He explained to me that it is a low resistance atomizer and that it needs to be kept very wet. He told me to drip my juice right onto the atomizer and try it again. So I did that while on the phone with him and WOW!!! I was amazed! It was such a nice warm throat hit with full flavor! He explained that you can use this with cartomizers (not sure how those work yet) and drip tips (where you drip your juice right into the tip which is good for 4 or 5 good drags) but he said until I use one, if I want the good throat hits I can drip right into the atomizer. He also was kind enough to offer to send me a free drip tip and cartomizer to help me along, on Nhaler.
I have been using the E cig now with dripping right into the atomizer and WOW! I have to thank Drew and this E cig because I was really about to go back to analogs, I was so frustrated with the performance of my earlier ecig. Now, with this Magnum kit when I drip into the atomizer and take my hits it is a very full, consistent throat hit every time and the flavor of the juice is 150 times better than when I just refilled my blu!!!It produces a TON of vapor and really feels like you are smoking an analog but without the aftertaste. In fact, I have to say I like this better than my American Spirit cigarettes, where with my other ecig I was constantly frustrated and thinking about wanting to go back to my cigs.
I can't wait to get the drip tip in and use it that way. The flavors of the juice when dripped with the Magnum are so amazing, how they were meant to be experienced I believe with a warm, strong consistent throat hit EVERY time. I am sure there are many veterans who are snickering at my review I suppose my review is meant more for newbies so we can learn how to vape like it should be! I know I will stick with this and stay off analogs now.
