As a former 2 1/2 pack a day smoker i dont think 5-8 analogs a day is too shabby for now. I roll my own smokes so when my tobacco bag is empty then thats it. I will buy no more!

I smoked one a day until I ran out of the last pack - didn't buy more and haven't had a craving for one. If you are getting the nic the rest is all about breaking the habit. Best of luck!

I don't really feel bad hiding smoking from my kids. Dishonest maybe, but they are young and it's not a behavior I want to model for them. Hiding from my parents is a different story, but oh well...

ITA- kids have enough pressure on them to try things that are bad for them. I don't need to give them the rationalization of "well, mom does it". I won't even vape in front of them. Vaping may or may not be safer than cigs- we won't know for years. This is just my opinion, but I would never smoke in front of my kids(or anyone's kids) and honestly it bugs me when I see parents doing it around their kids

Yep, I don't vape in front of them either. Too much like smoking and like you said, we don't really know how safe it is, only that it's most likely safer than smoking.
