I have a friend kind of like this. She used to be a heavy smoker sometime before I met her, but now she can't stand the slightest wisp across her path. Smoke doesn't make her cough or sniffle, but she says it severely hurts her lungs. She's not been diagnosed with any particular problem at all and can be quite a drama queen anyway, so I think she just doesn't want to smell it. Fair enough. At any rate, at the outside events where I see her, I smoke around her several feet away and down wind and that usually works out. I told her on the phone about my PV and the VG, etc. She's already decided, and is adamant, that it will still bother her just as much if she catches a wiff of it. What can you do?
On the other hand, I have another friend who is very sensitive to smoke and she thought it was a great idea. After using it okay in the car with her, she told me to go ahead and use it in her teeny home office (maybe 10x10). Unfortunately the vapor did get to her after about 20 mins, so I stopped, easy enough. She couldn't smell it, but she had started a lot of throat clearing. No attitude at all, she was just being honest, and now I know that in small closed areas, too much might bother someone.
Different people, different attitudes. Unfortunately, not everyone is going to be reasonable.
