Bring back the Posts per user in the posit info and it would look a lot better...
I haz points? What are points? And what are they for?

Points go towards the trophies you earn. Here are all the available trophies: Trophies | E-Cigarette ForumThank you for asking - same question here.![]()
I won't say never, but there are no plans to put that info in the postbit at this time. That could change at any time of course, and it does get discussed periodically as many have requested this. The problem is, with all the posts and all the users, the concern is about how much of a hit to the speed the servers will take if this is changed. Since the information is not static, the software calls to the server each time it's displayed, and the more information in the postbit that's not static, the more calls to the server, which reduces speed and efficiency (which is one of the main reasons we switched to XF).Bring back the Posts per user in the posit info and it would look a lot better...
The average user would not notice any difference in speed loading at all.The problem is, with all the posts and all the users, the concern is about how much of a hit to the speed the servers will take if this is changed. This is what I understand from the situation as explained to me - I'm not a coder, so there you have what I know.
I notice some changes today -- the "MOOD" thing is gone.
Yup, it's pretty cool having them back! And now your location and date joining ECF are back under the avi. I like having those two bits of info.
These are positive changes in the right direction!
Speaking for myself, I don't feel you have been hijacking the NT forum and you have been providing great input here. Some of us, me included, don't wander a lot in the wilderness of ECF instead preferring our homey little NuThouse. Therefore the info on XF you have been providing us is helpful. Heck you're part of the family now and a Warrior!=====
To no one in particular, I don't mind answering questions here (or anywhere else for that matter), but don't want to hijack Nicoticket's forum to do so without express consent. You can get more info/post more specific requests here:
Forum issues | E-Cigarette Forum
Xen Foro tips and tricks | Page 57 | E-Cigarette Forum
and can always post a new thread if something's not already covered here:

I thank you for hijacking a forum that is in a constant state of hijacking (seriously) since I can only be here (though I know that may not be true for those threads I'm erring on the side of caution...) so I can see what's up.![]()

Xenforo is a faster loading software than vB and by having the members post number displayed as per what I said would not be felt by a user....
You've gone above my paygrade there Maka (I'm more a management admin than a s/w admin, though I am a sort of techie type - more h/w than s/w though). Also may I add, why not give the members the right to use a separate style with the number of posts of a member showing as it's an option to have per style not as the overall software.
So all you need to do is upload a copy version of this skin, name it Version 2 style and set that style to show the post count of a user in the postbit
Then the user can decide themselves if they want to use this so called 'slower' loading style or not
Sorry you're missing that Newportlocal!Really miss the drop down for my posts in the upper left corner where the new posts are. It was much better for following the threads I was posting in, and for checking responses to my comments.

The mood thing though is just hidden for non-supporting members. Supporting members still see it and can change it.![]()
You are a supporting member, so you can see the Moodsbtw I still see the moods...mine still says "vegged out"![]()
but the computer(s) running this Forum would feel it, and like it. Not so many calls to the database(s) with user info would have to be made...by having the members post number displayed as per what I said would not be felt by a user....
