Exactly my question, does anyone here own one yet??? It was released in August, sold out very quickly, then back in stock on Sept 9th at Vaporlabs. I ordered the Nimbus last night from Vaporlabs, then this morning I called them up as soon as they opened and changed my order to the Patriot.

Every review I have seen or read is raving about this RDA, which has me wondering "why can't I find any threads on this yet?". It's made in the USA, extremely well built (from the reviews I've seen and read), gives off massive amounts of Vapor, 22mm diameter for more room to build (example: Nimbus is 19mm) plus for holding more vape, deeper well to hold more juice, and the list goes on.

Here are some quick Vapor Vids and a couple reviews...

Performance (there are 2 other performance Vids I cannot find at the moment that are stellar, will post when located)

Vapor cloud 1 - YouTube

Huge vapor clouds - YouTube

Reviews...

IVP Patriot RDA First Impressions - YouTube

Patriot rda review - YouTube

Here: Patriot RBA

Sooo, anyone?

^^^

I know all of what you stated, I've been vaping for 5 years, this ain't my first rodeo. ;) The main differences that the Nimbus does not have, that maybe a deal braker when deciding between this one and other RDA's, and I'm quoting from the description...

-High volume tank equals higher air flow for larger vapor clouds; more room for wick equals more juice for more hits. Measures 22mm for a flush look on most mods.

-Unique heat sink fin gives that custom look and design and also removes up to 50% more heat during a chain vape (Meaning no need for a cheap looking plastic derlin attached to your MOD/atty, you can chain vape with a Steel DT without burning your lips off).

-A Bigger well and spacier contact points equal more room for coil design for a simpler user friendly set-up. Bigger design also makes it easier to create dual and quad coil set-ups.

These points mentioned above are huge IMO

There are people out there who like a more "flush" look to there MOD (who doesn't?), as in looking like one whole piece, and I'm sure they wouldn't mind having spacier contact points for less fiddling around while making there builds. Also not mentioned, the metal is thicker on the Patriot compared to the Nimbus, and from what one review I have read stated, the Nimbus feels "cheap" and "Flimsy" compared to the construction of the Patriot.

As you seen in the two reviews I posted, both reviewers had a Nimbus on hand along with the Patriot, and both recommended the Patriot over the Nimbus quite easily.

So no, cap size and logo are not the only differences.

I definitely should have worded my response differently. xD The patriot is basically a better version of the nimbus, as you stated that it's 22mm while the nimbus is 19mm etc. Your post has made me think about purchasing the patriot now lol. Trying to decide between the omega, atomic or patriot now......

After watching all the vids. It's just like the Nimbus. I prefer RDA's with adjustable airflow. With adjustable airflow we can do different builds which makes the atty more versatile. The Patriot looks good though. Honestly I don't need another Nimbus. For the first time buyers, the Patriot would be nice. It's good to see an American RDA available. I just hope more are to come with better originality.

I have the atomic and don't care for it, I have it on my Maraxus. Here's a Pic of it, I had the ring Gold plated and SS DT plated...

Adjustable airflow is the exact reason I do not care for my Atomic Atty much. Metal on Metal does not control airflow well, there is no seal, so even when twisting the ring, it's simply metal covering metal, I am getting way to much airflow on it, it's VERY airy! Now, I can't speak for all atty's with adjustable airflow, but the Atomic IS very well made, so I would assume it would be close to the same thing with other adjustable RDA's.

Also, if you read my second post with the difference between Nimbus and Patriot, I feel it's made enough improvements and is more then worthy to be considered as an additional RDA to any persons collection, even if the person does own a Nimbus.

I have the patriot, never held or tried a nimbus. The patriot has sturdy build quality, smooth threads and yes, matches nicely with the 22mm mod it sits on. I like the amount of room in the deck, and the holes in the posts, rather than wrapping around a screw. Only thing is I am debating drilling out the holes, the draw is a little tight.

I have the Helios/Cronus setup. On the Helios the airflow adjustment works stellar. I can get huge amounts of air, to hardly any, to none at all. I don't buy that cooling fin idea. I have no problems burning my lips man. As long as there are no exposed coils, my builds run great. When the cap gets too hot, that's an indication that it needs more airflow.

I'm kinda confused by the idea of a larger chamber being a selling point when it's been established for quite a while now that a smaller chamber produces denser, more flavourful vapour.

I'm not trying to be a smartazz, but who established that??? lol ;)

BTW, here are 2 more Video's of the Vapor production of the Patriot (same guy uploaded a couple new vids). This Vap is looking pretty dense to me! :)

It's the best atty I own. I've built quads, but discharges a battery in no time. I also like the fact that it holds the most wick. It's well worth the money.

I'm gonna go check out some video on it right now, haven't really researched it much, but everytime I see a Pic of it I want the thing! lol Then something else grabs my attention and I forget about it! Me and the Helios have a very odd relationship! lol Off to the tube :)

The drip tip on my patriot doesn't get hot, but the atomizer itself sure does.
