I'm SO confused about these X10s - are they cartomizers or clearo tanks? It says that it comes with a punched carto ("Components: tank tube + DCT cartomizer with a hole + 510 drip tips"), but then it shows the BCC coil of a protank or EVOD. So which are they? I want some, but the ambiguous descriptions on fasttech are driving me nuts!

In other news, just got my X9s - a dead head on the first one already, grr. Luckily, EVOD heads seem to work fine.

these are going to be a huge seller, just ordered two. made from polypropylene so NO cracking. and 4ml! win win... can't wait till they get here.

Given that Kamry is currently listing the X10 using acrylic tube (maybe Plexiglass?), I'm not sure how reliable is FT's description saying it's polypropylene since most PP tanks I've came across are milky/frosted in appearance (e.g. RSST).

Just something to consider if you vape tank cracker eliquids.

Are you basing that on the Fasttech description? Fasttech is not in the business of having accurate descriptions apparently. If they are, a lot of people are gonna be disappointed when their X10 turns out to be a carto tank.
Remember, if it's not frosted, it's not polypropylene. In the discussions under the black one at Fasttech there's a guy who says his is not a frosted plastic. The pictures don't look like polyprop either. There's not a real conclusive picture there though.
Regardless, I'd buy it only under the assumption it's polycarbonate like most everything else is. I'm gonna nix the X9 idea and get a couple of these in black instead. They are very good looking.

i understand your confusion. i was in the beginning also, untill i saw these pop up on other sites aswell. so, from everything i've seen about these x10's they are indeed BCC's. but, polycarbonate... not a deal breaker for me though.

I got my x9 in today. Missing 2 base out of the 5. And you don't need to scratch the tank they look pretty scratched up to me up close. First head tastes horrible. Going to throw in some rebuild protank heads. Hemp ...
I haven't got a tank yet from fast tech where the installed head hasn't tasted like crap. I just replace it before I even fill the tank.

What do you mean "2 base out of 5 missing?"

Wow! Just got a 10-pack of Evods in from them today and the two that I'm using so far are vaping like angels. Maybe I have rough tastebuds and just don't care? Nah...

I opened up the package and behold. I go to unscrew the base and there is none! I filed a claim to FT already

Wow you are lucky. I bought 3 5packs of protank heads and I only got 4 that was good. I just went through 2 heads with the x9 i have 1 more to try. If not then its all getting rebuilt. I have 15 heads waiting to be rebuilt all at once.

I notice that on 2 of my x9 tanks the center air post is not exactly centered so I have a hard time putting in a protank head. The other 3 goes in with no problems. I don't own any evod heads where the top peace of the head is shorter. I guess I'll just use the original ones on those off centered ones.

overall though i like the tank. I notice that when you fill it up to where the center post is there is still a lot of room for air. When I fill my protanks up that level i dont get any extra room and i get slight burnt taste untill it the level goes down to where the top of glass is on the protank at that point the taste is really good down till its empty.

Sounds very good. Looking forward to mine arriving - we don't all use tank-cracking liquids (having said that mine is bound to crack just using pg and chillis). Damn!

I like these a little more because it more drop proof. I have 3 broken protanks that I dropped. 2 of them I broke the glass. 1 of them i broke the threads clean off the base. So the other 2 I broke came in handy for the 3rd broken one.

If it is more drop-proof then that will indeed be useful.
