I understand bro. I just spoil myself sometimes cause this is my only hobby. Have you tried rebuilding your heads? You save a good penny after a while. It gives me a sense of accomplishment.
If I won the lottery I'd still rebuild. It's therapeutic lol.

and once you get the hang of it the rebuilt protank heads are MUCH better than the factory ones

Interesting. They just changed that in the description because the link to that same page that I posted a few pages back said that it was a glass tank.
ETA- The same link that you quoted says

So the ABS mentioned may be bad Chinglish and saying that it is confirmed is not true if you are relying strictly on the Kamry site that also says it is glass

Hey Eric, could it be that since there are less threads on the connector, your X9 is just not making a good connection to your MVP? Do you have a 510-510 adapter to try?
I have a 510 to ego that may work. Getting ready for bed soon but I'll try tomorrow when I get home from work. Good thinking though

I guess that is true Salemgold, but it didn't mention ABS plastic last week, and that is what a few vendors were already in discussions with them about last week, so I'm sure they clarified plastic vs glass as it's an easy translation. I think they just updated ABS and forgot to remove the glass comment.

Yes, brought the 100% white cotton yarn from walmart, 32 wire and even a torch lighter. Takes me awhile to get one that comes out good but when they do they are a lot better. I brought a lot of coils from discount vaper befor I started to rebuild them so I'm using up some of them first befor I go fulltime rebuilding

Oh no! Did it just die or did something happen to it? The thing that I am most impressed with is that the 2 SS that we have are going strong after more than 6 months of use. We do have 2 of the Black carbon as back ups but have not had to use them yet.
Our SS Vamos are much sturdier than the Zmax that we paid 3x as much for.
Well, nothing has been confirmed yet. I see that sites all over the net are saying that Eric confirmed that these are glass. Really, he only stated that it "seemed" like glass after tapping it with his finger nail.
I clinked it against my teeth the other day and I said it felt like glass. Don't really want to scratch it and leave a mark.
I just figured it was because that is what I was told. I never said that it was for sure glass.
Kind of upset people said I knew for sure it was. I'm just a regular guy that gave it a shot to see if it was a good tank that worked well. I always had it stuck in my head it is glass because I was told it was a protank clone so it would have to be glass because one of the major points of the protank is for it to be able to handle acidic juices regular plastic tanks can't handle.
I went by the site that said it was glass.
I care about you guys a lot you are like family.

heres a thought...anyone doubting Eric AND fast tech that its not glass...pay the $7 and find out for yourself! If its not what you've expected...return it! pretty simple huh??
