jeez. china just doesn't stop lol. after owning a provari I told myself no more disposable china mods. This 1 looks pretty cool not a fan that it's all aluminum though
They only state "designed in the US".....for $80, gotta be China Made.
Yeah this is definitely not made in the US they say it was designed in the US however they always do that to try and trick people into thinking it was made in the US for the price this thing is straight out of China.
sems like a lot of these that are coming out (vamo, zmax, anyvape, tesla) are using mostly the same internals. just giving people options for the outside. that's just my thought. its cool to see so many but id rather there be a more reliable model with better build quality rather than seeing a new looking one every couple of weeks.

I'll play the devil's advocate here and say that even at $80; that thing could have been made in the US and still come in at that price.
Granted; the control board, circuit and OLED screen all came from China, but the actual tube could have, very easily, been made in the US... 6061-T651 Aluminum is what I'd guess was used on it. That material retails for about $6/foot in 7/8" (22.22mm) and for about the same price in 13/16" (20.64mm).
Remember that this is "RETAIL" price too... If you purchase larger quantities the price goes down. And machining that thing doesn't really take that much work either. It's not like a Caravela or a Poldiac where everything is done to the tightest tolerances. I'm not saying they were made here... I'm saying they could have been made in the US, sure; the margin on them would have been a little lower, but they could have been made here.
PS: Does anyone know which PWM circuit they use on these VV/VP units? I'd like to see if I can find some to tinker with.

Yeah like you said, I'll wait till I start seeing some reviews before I make any further judgment. I'm sure it works just as good or just as bad (for that matter) as all other mods like this. I'm sure it will have its pros and cons just like everything. I have only owned an Ego twist since I started my vaping journey but I would like one day to pick up one the bigger mods like this one and at $80.00 its still in my price range that I would I allow my self to spend on a mod.
I'm trying to decide between a Tesla, Zmax or spending another 60/70 bucks for a provari. Can anyone attest to the durability of the Tesla yet? I've always had box mods and I always end breaking them.

Vaping with it now. Vivi Nova tank on it that I took off of a Lavatube V2 Which is about 1/2 inch shorter.
Vapes great! As good or better than the Lava...so far.
Have it set in VV mode now...but will play with the VW mode later.
Only 2 minor gripes so far...1-the - and + buttons are above the display screen. Making veiwing while pressing a slight bit
awkward.
2-the fire button has a bit of rattle but is clicky...which I like.
So far so good..Really gang, this is an exceptionally nice one...and a great value.

Was really interested in that device, but having the 510 pin that retracts that could allow juice to easily pass into the head unit and ruin it is the only reason I'm not buying it. Tried to contact the vendor about this and get their input but no response, so that seems to indicate my thoughts might be correct.
can anyone tell me if you could put two 18350's in the tesla and if it would work.
I've had my Tesla about 2 weeks now. Still loving it!
One nice thing, the end cap is designed so that it looks finished whether your battery is 85 mm or 87 mm as the protected tend to be.
No problem with liquid in the switch, even accidentally taking the tube off an ego ce4.

Pbusardo already reviewed the tesla. You wouldn't like his results.
Tesla is solidly built, sports the same type electronics as most other china mods. Unfortunately they decided to place the control buttons above the screen. This location causes you to block the screen while selecting anything.

I was just looking at youtube thinking "didn't pb already review this?" I knew I remembered him not liking that button placement.
Just my opinion, but that is one ugly mod. I can see saying "Luke, I am your father" while waving that thing around. Sorry, Tesla owners!
