Can you get to the V4L website from forum? I used to have buttons at the top of the forum page.... now I don't! SIL sent me a screen shot of her page and she has many tabs and buttons that are not on my page. I sent her a picture of mine, we're amazed at the difference. I tried signing out and restarted browser but that didn't change a thing. Anybody else have this happen? Also, my avitar pic and profile page pic are gone!

Two links that I see to the Forum from the main site:

* to the left of the Cost Calculator at the near-bottom of the page, on the left.

* in the links section if you scroll to the very BOTTOM of the page, in the right hand column.

Also, try going into Options/Preferences (whatever its' called in your browser), and clear all temporary files from the cache, then restart browser and try once more. Also, if you have more than one browser, see if any difference between them.

EDIT: I realized I read your problem backwards; the top bar is still there on the forum when I go there, and the HOME button on the left goes to the new site when i click it... Still try above suggestions if you are still having issues.

I have fought to make pages compatible with IE, Firefox and Chrome/Opera/safari on a regular basis. I can attest to what a supreme PITA it can be! I feel your pain Mark sir.

Sent from my phone; Please excuse typos / autocorrections.
yep developing web pages that render correctly is a major PITA...on one site i did a menuing system in PHP getting the CSS, etc tweaked for all possible browser took me like 3 days...actually functionality coding, etc like 8 hours tops (and it was like a 20 PHP script/pages job!)

Lol sorry you guys please ignore our inter-geek comments

Incantius: no doubt, any time site layout or menus change significantly, is always tons more work than the actual functionality. Ironic considering it was an original design goal to write once, to standards, for all clients to render identically. Darnit blood pressure rising just discussing it lol

This is for Mark or other V4L staff. . .

After placing an order, and receiving the normal email confirmation, I notice a 2nd email is showing up. This one from "transactions@eProcessingNetwork.com". Should this be happening or is it an unattended consequence? I was afraid to open it at first until I tracked the message source (yes, I'm a little security paranoid) LOL.

That is from our credit card processing gateway. We had that turned on for testing, but it was supposed to have been turned off. I will look into it ASAP.
