Chilicat, for what it's worth, I've had a Reo since November and it was only about a month ago did I get an ohm's meter. I used my mvp as an ohm's meter. Lol

As long as it works I'm good with it! I guess it was a good decision to hold on to them!
You are so right! Ok I quit! One REO will be enough, right? I will not give in to any more buying! I think I should surprise him with a new Ugly Stick tomorrow! The kind you fish with! Thanks for all the help you guys! I'll update when I am vaping with the REO gang, if I am not the target!
The button top AW batteries are the best for a Reo. The AW IMR 1600 is 24 amp max battery the 2200 is a 20amp max battery. The 1600 holds higher voltage longer so it hits slightly harder, the 2200 last slightly longer on a charge. I also use flat top Sony VTC4, VTC5 and LG HE2 batteries. The flattops are more prone to arcing and pitting especially if you sub ohm. They also cause the firing pin to need to bend to more. Overtime this might cause issues to appear sooner.
Deoxit or noalox on the contacts can prevent the arcing, some noalox will come with the Reo.
I use them all but prefer to use AW 1600 or 2200 batteries and those will be what I buy for my next purchase.
Ok! I got the AW batteries and a charger! Dummy me forgot an ohm meter so if you all think it will work can I continue to use my MVP to check my coils or do I need to go shopping again???? Wow! I am way over $240 already. Oh well, Mr. Chili got a new rifle scope and I got a REO! I said we were even and then he pointed to my containers of juices, ISticks, tanks, coiling materials, and so on and so on!!!! I guess he will be on his way to Cabelas soon!

Interesting, I agree there are others and I use them but my favorite is the AW 1600, I'd like to see a chart of it against the VTC4
Until you want a second... You know it's gonna happen... Ask Distorto and FB how many they have... I'm just a rookie, I only have 4...
Congrats on the Reo, hope it works out for you this time!
Pssst... Hubby is gonna need a reel to go with that Ugly Stick... just saying...
that is against the 2200 not the 1600, I have to rerun some tests but if IIRC my 1600 had a lower internal voltage drop than the VTC 4 I have.Click the link in mah post that says Akkudb or something...

It's no big deal FB...we are dealing with minutia when comparing top of the line batteries...
Didn't even pick up that I chose the 2200 for the comparison and AkkuDB doesn't have data on the 1600...
We're comparing Fuji to Rome apples here. They both rock!
VTC`s are definitely better in every way than the aw`s ....just sayin, vacs are all I use...I recommend them in my bottom feeders, I do that because they are the best, it's possible that someone would recoded a battery for their mod because they know it to fit.
My Reo arrived today! Now I wait for Friday so Shoebunnie can teach me the ropes!
