Dont forget you can also gap micros, I do with my single and duel builds exclusively now. Helps prevent the centers burning out esp if using cotton.

The Dibi-crack? Don't see those too often.

My coils are all far too big to count as even minis. i think super-x and a few others settled on 'big and ugly' and that works for me!

T

I know what you mean mine are super macros!!

My favorite build for my Reo's is on a 2mm screwdriver with 26 guage @ 8 wraps. Always comes in at 0.8 for me in single and 0.4 for duals. SuperX builds his on the second smallest coil gizmo thingy which is 1/16th so his qualify as micros, mine are minis I guess.

I've been playing around with Twisted Messes builds, those just cannot be wrapped with a small ID. 2.5mm is about the smallest you can attempt and usually it's on a 3mm. It's all in the name of science.

Twisted Mess's builds work great on a 3/32 (2.38mm). I usually use 7/64 (2.77mm) but you need a larger atty (Mephisto, but I can squeeze them into mah Derringer as well). In general any coil he builds is far to hot for a mini or micro coil...there is so much metal in his builds that a small ID coil won't allow the wick to keep up!

2mm has been my go to size for quite a while using different gauges. Been known to wrap a few 1.5's and go to 3's when I'm in the mood to drip and blow some major clouds. Usually stay in the 0.4 to 0.8 range with the 2's for most RDA's on the Reo's depending on the liquid.

We have the same go-to build bud :) I don't mess with twisted as much anymore, I've found I prefer good ol' 26g, 8 wrap 2mm duals :)

Play around with the twisted coils myself but have found that for the Virus and Wakonda, straight up round 2mm 28g's built to 0.5 (V) and 07 (W) with Cotton Bacon or KGD are the sweet spots in terms of flavor for me with the Cyclone AFC's I'm running with on the Reo's. As a side note, Reo #2 ( all things Wakonda) is running a 0.7 tiger coil right now and I'm going to switch back to round because while the flavor is right there, its bringing out more of the sweet than I prefer with the sacred vapor.

Dual twisted coils at low ohms in a high air flow dripper however, is a completely different story...

More to the definition than I thought but I wrap micro coils for sure. I know I am missing out on some taste and clouds but I have gotten into the habit of the same coils over and over. Most of the time I am just in a hurry and not really interested in being creative. I like what I get from them. If I got more taste, I would vape so much I wouldn't have time for life! LOL
