Thanks Distorto and Jason! Megan loves making coils so I could send her a lifetime supply of materials! My hubby thinks vaping is crazy, but he is an electronic tech and maybe I can convince him that making coils for me is a hobby! That way I won't have to hire someone on a lifetime contract! Also will I need to buy one of those ohm meter things or can I use my MVP to check ohms on the coils?
And I really do think that the guys at my local BM will build me one and teach me! I have seen them give coil building lessons so many times! They really want to see a real life REO! They get sick of hearing me talk about how much I want one!

Every time I have walked into a vapory shop with a Reo they are usually all over me once I release the first cloud.

Use the mvp. I use my provari. I have a multimeter, but find it much more awkward to use. As for making coils, it is exactly as difficult as winding string around a pencil 8 times. You don't need a gizmo. I bought one, but haven't taken it out of the box yet. Seems a lot more complicated than just winding it around my mini screwdriver.

I like a pin vise and drill bit. Allows for perfect tensioned micro coils every time. Don't even really need to squeeze when firing if done properly.

I have posted this before but, I'll post it again.....a jewelers looping tool is what I prefer. Plenty of options when it comes preference of coil wrapping equipment. (the small one of course)

I probably should have waited for a grand LP but if I get the mini and love it I can always save up for a Grand and then I will have the best of both worlds! My son and his friends, who all use mech mods think I'm nuts to get a REO, but they haven't ever actually seen one, but neither have I. I trust all of your REOnauts when you say they are wonderful. Can't wait to leave my son in a cloud!

LOL just wait till you get the Grand, can use any high amp battery so you can basically build whatever you want.

LOL! Most all of the vapers that I have come across that get that "deer in the headlights" look about them when they see the Reo have only had one word come out their mouths after I have pulled my drip tip and let them install theirs to check it out and that word is "WOW! Come to think of it, my first thoughts after building Reo#1 and getting it just right where more like Holy S**t !!.......

On my cyclone I have my coil built at 0.9 ohms. Vapor production is okay but not great. Flavor is okay but I've had better. Coil is raised a little from the base. Same build is in the RM2 with outstanding flavor and vapor production. What am I doing wrong?

Just putting it out there. I have a copper and a silver vein LP grand, <3 months old with updated contacts and a brass LP RM2 that I am interested in trading for an authentic brass or copper mech. At this point I'm only mentioning to NT family as I don't really "need" to do a trade. I love my Reos but I think 2 grands and 2 minis would be enough. Been doing lots of patinas on mechs and would like to acquire another without dropping cash. PM if you like.
