My 0.8 ohm build was a little too warm for me in the RM2 so I re-coiled at 1.2 and she is now just perfect.

See, I'm liking my 1.15, but plan on going lower. I had air hole widened to 1/16 and may go 5/64 or 3/32... thinking about trying a 28 gauge parallel coil with 4 wraps. Should come in around 0.4-0.6 ohm.

True. It's got such a small chamber that it may hurt. I love my 0.2 ohm dual parallel in my helios. But that's got a ton of air flow.

I wish the helios made a bottoms feeder... but the resistance would definitely increase as the coils are set so high, there'd need to be longer leads.

The draw @ 5/64 is just perfect for me. I'm thinking of going with a Cyclone bottom feeder to check it out for sub-ohm but they are so damn hard to come by right now. I have an Atomic clone that I may play with and convert to a bottom feeder. I have attached a few of my other RDA's to the Reo. They look rather bulbous to me, kill the sleekness and make the Reo rather top heavy At 1.2 in the RM2, production has dropped off a bit but the flavor is still all there. The temp of the vape is just right.

Wow, Two for the cyclone while I was typing!

Taki, any leads?

Well I know the AFC top cap will fit the Igo base Rob sells so if you can find the cap just get the BF Igo from Rob. I think that's about the only way to do it at this point. Well and the Origen v2 but that atty is 22mm.

I'm looking but the last place I saw caps in stock seems to be out too :(

Love my reo. Only issue I've experienced is that there seem to be some juice that leaks after sitting overnight. Tha paper towel underneath the reo has a bit of juice and the inside of the door also had a bit of juice on it. Doesn't happen when I'm vaping regularly that I notice.

Did you purchase this directly from Rob' or used?
I had somewhat similar leakage after I put the sub-ohm kit in my mini. Tightened up the 510 connection and it seems to have done the trick. Or, you can try the Reosmods forum and/or message Rob'.

Directly from Rob. I'll have to look at how to tighten the 510 connection. Our are you simply saying you tightened the topper in to the connection more?

Regardless, it is still my current favorite vaping device (had it for 5 days now and can't put it down when I'm at home, though I'm sure it'll get a short -hour or two- break when I get my DNA 30), and it started on my 2 bottle fill, never happened on the first.

I did three of them the same way and only had the problem with one.
I would contact Rob' to let him know about the issue. You can check out Superx's or Rob's video on how to install the kit. It will show how to tighten the connection.

Did what I call a "mustache wick" in the RM2 last night and boy howdy!, the REO is rocking now.

Mustache wick you ask? My coil is built right @ 1.2 ohms and 2mm. Using Koh Gen Do organic cotton, I cut a 2.5" strip just a wee bit wider than the coil. Slightly folding it just enough to thread it through the coil, I then wrap both ends around the outside of the posts just tight enough to open some room inside the coil, measure the wick and cut to length so that I can tuck the tails under the coil while wrapped all the way around the posts. Then using a small shafted precision screw driver, I gently push the cotton toward the posts from inside the coil to clear a little room. Using a second piece of wick, I thread it through the coil and trim it off leaving a little excess protruding from each side of the coil. It should look like a wee man with a mustache peeking up at you when all is said and done.

The flavor and production is fantastic!

My "Cyclone" should be here tomorrow. More fun to follow!

I'm assuming you are leaving is standing straight up. Take a flash light and with the battery out shine it into the hole where the contact comes down. Can you see any juice on the contact (or in the silicone sleeve) or on the inside of the body?

It is upright. I'll have to check this evening when I get home from work.

There was a little juice on the inside of the body, but mostly on the bottle side, only a little on the battery side.

I don't believe there is juice on the battery contact as there is no juice on the battery at all. I'll double check it all when I get home.

Sorry to hear about your leaking issues Brook.......:?:

Could it be that you accidentally pulled the feed tube away from the nipple a wee bit when changing out flavors. Just enough to break the seal could do it.

Possible, but I really don't think so. It looks completely flush on the nipple.

I work with silicone and neoprene hose used in things like pneumatic controls and samplers quite a bit. (Chief engineer in a water treatment facility)

A very slight tear or a small area of a bad seal can be and is usually the culprit in terms of leakage although a loose connection is a case of a leak for sure. A trick to applying hose is to dampen the nipple or hose a wee bit before assembly to get a good seal. One would assume that squonking places a lot of pressure on the seal.
