I think I have a case of the new and shinies! I want a reo! But since I no matter how much I read and no matter what videos I watch, I can't seem to be able to figure out dripping OR rebuildables (at least not without much frustration), I doubt one is for me. Enablers of the thread, convince me otherwise please! Do I need to know how to drip to squonk? And how do I tell if atomizers/cartomizers I order online are bottom fed and will work with one. Thanks y'all!

If I can build a coil anyone can. Yesterday I received a "micro puck". It's basically a puck with things to make coils on. You pick the size you want your coil, stick it in the puck and wrap. It takes about 5 seconds for a pretty coil. When I decided to start making coils ( because I wanted a Reo) I went to my local vape shop and had a tutorial. It literally was only once it was so easy. Like you watching videos left me frustrated, I learn better face to face. You can also use cartomizers if you prefer and Rob sells them along with the bottom feeders on the Reo website.

All you need to know about squonking is how to gently squeeze the bottle every few hits. I got carried away last night and kept forgetting to squonk. Then I started to over squonk.

I'm sure you will get more detailed advice from some of the more experienced enablers but I say learn to make coils and go for a Reo!!

I have a Reo question - been seriously looking into them for a while...but I'm not a dripper, I actually hate dripping. I've tried to like it, I own several drippers (clones), most recently the TOBH, and I just don't like the experience. It's not the hassle, or the coil building, I'm fine with all of that, been building coils for a year now. It's the airflow or "loose" draw that almost forces you to lung hit. I'm not a lung hitter, I vape to not smoke, nothing about lung hitting feels like smoking to me, I've never lung hit a cigarette (is that even possible?). Anyways, super airy lung hits - not my thing. I like kayfuns with the air adjustment screw somewhere in the middle. I also like the draw of cartos, and I know reos can use cartos, but I prefer rebuildables. Just letting you know the type of draw I like.

So, would the Reo work for someone like me who likes to rebuild but doesn't like airy, loose draws and lung hitting (lung inhale, direct lung hit, whatever it's called)?

Thanks for any info/help. :)

An LP with the RM4 seems like what you are looking for. AFC on the RM4 to dial in the draw and flexibility to do single or duel coils. Alternatively the RM2 has a pretty tight draw stock but if it's too tight it's easy to enlarge the air hole to ones preference.

I also don't care for super airy draws and I like the RM2.

Same here. I'm a mouth to lung vaper, and I hate airy draws. Guy at the B&M I bought my Kayfun at looked at me like I was crazy when I tightened the air flow screw after he built it for me. On the Reo the RM2 suits me just fine.

Theres definitely a learning curve when you first start dripping. Took some trial and error and some tips from brother Blotto to get me going. Once you 'get' it, its real real nice. Took my wife a bit longer, she had a hard time adjusting the way she inhales, but shes got it down now. Still dont have a REO though (STAY AWAY REOZOMBIES!!!!!)

When dripping becomes a hassle or when your tanks flood for no apparent reason come say hi again ;)

What's the deal with Grappler anyway?
Idk either.
It's not vape'able. It's not shoe shine. Can't use it to lubricate anything. No way I'm ruining any other juice by mixing it in.
Idk what to do with it except for keeping the bottle to remind myself of juice mistakes.

You do not have to get the RM2. If you get an LP Reo, you can use just about any RDA depending on your skills. Get one with AFC, and you can go from lung hits to sucking a milkshake through a straw very quickly. Below is a Magma wicked with Rayon. Flavor off the charts!

You can really do as much or as little as you want for much less $$ and time with just a bit of research.
