I have a NiteCore i2 and when I get my 800mAh Efests I will be charging them in it.
My understanding is (and someone chime in if I am wrong) that the mAh of the battery (per bay) has to be higher than the output of the charger (per bay).
I have the two bay charger version that outputs 500mAh per bay and the batts that I will be using will be 800mAh per bay.

Edit to add: Quite a few people on this forum use this brand charger, hopefully more will chime in...I still consider myself a bit of a noob :)

Thank you frank i will just keep eye on the charger and make sure batteries don't get hot it just seems like everyone says not to charge no more than 0.5a just a little confused.

I have my confusions too when it comes to these things...it would be nice to have a Charger Subforum :)

It will be safe .... With one exception. AAA Nimhs. If you have these batteries, you MUST charge them either in all 4 bays, or split bays (1&3, 2&4). Every other bay is shared, so it halves the charging current which is good for AAA rechargables, otherwise the 750ma is too much for these batteries. It's in the directions, and knowing the wiring, will result in a much faster charge of your 350s if in consecutive bays With each getting the full charging current. For example, with your 2 batteries, charge them in bays 1&2, or 2&3, or 3&4, or 1&4. If you want to slow charge them, say overnight, put them into bats 1&3 or 2&4. Hope this makes sense, excellent charger, & I charge my 350s daily in it.

Thanks ta71ana i should have bought the same one as you the nitecore i2 it charges at 0.5a and would have been better for these 18350.

Sure thing....I really do wish someone with more experience than me could come on here and give us a little more info.
Not to confuse the issue further but I often wonder if my charger outputs 500mAh per bay consistently or, if I am just charging one batt does it charge that one batt at 1000mAh :p
Like I say, it would be REALLY nice to have a Charger Forum
