Greetings,

I'm utterly intrigued by the Silver Bullet. It appears from the photos and video reviews I've seen to be a quality piece, perhaps the highest quality I've seen in terms of design and construction. I hope users will respond to this as I have a few questions regarding that quality of construction.

Threads: It looks like they used the right size thread (not too fine or coarse) that mate the two halves together. Please comment on the fit and finish here.

Battery Spring: Is it mounted securely? How is it mounted? I ask because I've had them fall off other units.

Atomizer fitting: Does the atomizer fit snug, or fiddly? One video reviewer mentioned that due to the manner of the way the 510 fits, it can leak fluid down the side...any comments here?

How about the switch? I'm impressed that altsmoke is publishing the switch rating! How about the way it is mounted to the housing? Solid?

Is there any weak point that you think ought be corrected?

These are pre-order questions. If it is as good as it looks, I want one!

Thanks all.

They are 14tpi

It utilizes a stainless spring that is fit snug into the housing, it will come out with a slight pull for cleaning... but it will not come out handling it.

Atomizer fitting: Does the atomizer fit snug, or fiddly? One video reviewer mentioned that due to the manner of the way the 510 fits, it can leak fluid down the side...any comments here?
The atomizer is pressed into the solid body of the Silver BUllet, it is the nature of the 510 to leak from the bottom due to the way it draws air from the bottom. My comment try not to overfill the atty, and wipe up the excess, unless you like sticky fingers :)
How about the switch? I'm impressed that altsmoke is publishing the switch rating! How about the way it is mounted to the housing? Solid?
The switch is precision fit in the SB .001in tolerance. It sits on a ledge machined into the body.

Is there any weak point that you think ought be corrected?
TBD, I use anti vibration foam, and coil the wires for a spring effect to reduce connection wear/vibration.

These are pre-order questions. If it is as good as it looks, I want one!

Thanks all.

Hope that answers your questions.

Thanks to you users and to the manufacturer. This does look like the best quality unity available. One other thing I've noticed is that it has fewer parts, hence less to go wrong. I really appreciated the anecdote about the 20 foot drop. These are daily devices for a lot of us and we're gonna drop them occasionally. Great to know this thing can take a spill!

LOL that sucks, surprised the atty did not break off! Felt pads are your freinds for nicks:p

I have a little buffing pad I hook up to my dremel. There isnt much it wont buff out. It landed on the bottom edge only thing noticeable was the atty needing to be tightened about an 1/8th inch.

I can second anyone saying this thing is built solid, It just feels good in the hand heavy....a rock. When I first got mine I examined this thing top to bottom, inside and out....no machine marks or blemishes....internals were straight and felt solid. This thing is perfect ! And in a pinch could be used as a instrument for personal defense. I have not felt the urge to tear it apart to gleen the secret inner workings yet....nor do I think I will anytime in the near future. I expect my SB to last a near lifetime. Excellent job on this piece guys. I am impressed at the engineering and the manufacture of this item every time I look at it......at least 300 times a day.
