I don't live in the middle of nowhere--but about 1000 meters to the left of it.
It is a small town and I'm the only one with a PV, so I get plenty of questions. After blowing vapor
for around 4 weeks today, I get even more questions. My neighbor wants one but is very wary of
patches, nicotine inhalers, gum, pills and that sort of thing since they don't work for her. She smokes
1.5 packs of full power full flavor cigs and wants a PV that tastes the same and provides the vapor of
the tobacco she is used to.
Since I'm not her, I figure something like the Ego V V2 with a Kangar Pro tank would be perfect for in home
use. The Mega version would last her all day and can run a USB pass through cable in case she forgets to
charge the thing. She can throw the tank on an Ego 650mAH dumb battery if she goes out and does not want
the the to call attention to herself.
My questions involve the PG/VG ratio, variable power and long term durability. Here are my thoughts so please
let me know if I'm close.
Variable voltage--she will not have 15 tanks as she will stick with one so no worries about ohms readings etc. The
variable voltage so she can set it to what works for her. It costs more but if it is not close, it would be a waste of
money to go basic.
PG/VG ratio of 75% PG and 25% VG since flavor is more important than vapor quantity. I started off with 100% PG
then switched to 50/50 and notice a large increase in the amount of vapor. She commented the preference for a
bit more vapor than PG and the 50/50 mix was more than enough. I'll guess 75 PG/25 VG and I'll tell her to exhale
through her nose if she needs more flavor.
My proposal is a basic Ego 650mAH battery with basic cartomisers so she can transfer the Kangar pro tank to the
small battery option if desired. If she does not want such a large tank, she has the option to go with the much
smaller carts that come in the basic kit. The small Ego and Ego V V2 would give her two devices just in case
something happens. Throw in a 5 pack of coils with the Kangar Pro tank and done.
Two equals one and one equals none...
Am I close are missing something? Thanks for your help!
