You know, I had to bail on the last sale because it was too late for me, but I went to the site the next morning and there were still some there. Not my first choices, but I got a glow in the dark helix, which I love. It will look really cool on my ASH (when I get it) with the glow in the dark o-rings I got from ob...LOL...oh, and some pluid.

I'm happy to have seen JenerationX in such awesome form on the elixir chat. Your overly serious big post on the thread had gotten me wondering, lol

OMG.... I'm rarely ever serious! Life is too serious to be serious for very long. LOL. I have to get my daily dose of laughter in. I do watch what I say here a little bit, cause I have a case of "potty mouth" that I'm trying unsuccessfully to kick. Sometimes funny works better with a few colorful words.

Seeing you or Steve or OB or anyone on chat is kind of like a celebrity sighting in my world. I'm a long time stalker...... lol

Good to know... I'll try to hit the sale, but if I don't make it, I'll be trying in the morning. I'm hoping for something "sparkly". I'm not much of a girly girl, but I do like some sparkly shhhh.... stuff. Yeah stuff.

OH
I'll cross-post...

Good morning!

This has nothing to do with anything, but I hope you guys can help...

I am putting together a starter kit for someone who never vaped. I decided on the ego form factor, haven't fixed in all the details yet... KGOs, or some passthroughs or Twists, I donno... But I was wondering about juice...

My juice tastes have moved so far away from anything recognizable as 'smoking' that I'm afraid I have no clue what he could possibly like... I mean I mostly do peach, cherry, *-berry, blueberry cinnamon and lately my ADV is "cherry-berry-menthol with a twist of Pluid". I'm sure nothing like this would cut it for him in the beginning... What juice should I include? Any thoughts?

These days, it just feels weird, though, to recommend cartos and clearos to someone, but I do understand that RBAs are not a gret introductory device...

For newbies, I love Smokeless Image. They have the Volt X2s, clearos, XL cartos, or Ce3, they're the same thing as the Kgo basically they come with a passthrough. If someone NEEDS the cig-alikes, the 78mm batteries are surprisingly satisfying. Customer service from them is awesome, and I haven't had a bad juice from them either.

My go-to juices are from Kick Bass Vapor. Very very clean, no perfumey taste, and they taste great right out of the bottle. I didn't want tobacco right off the bat, I went for bakery stuff, sweet tea, etc. I think juice is so individual you need to find out what that person wants.

X2 looks very good... I recommended that here a lot of times but it slipped my mind...

I love mine. I have 2 650mah X2s at work and 2 at home. I love my Zenesis to death, but I use the X2s out of the house... every time I pick one up and expect to be disappointed compared to the Zen.... I'm always surprised when I'm not. LOL Flavor isn't quite as good in the X2 clearos, but it's certainly not horrible. I haven't tried the Ce3s yet, but people are loving them.

Edit:.... I got 2 autos first, then 2 manuals because they didn't have autos in the color I wanted. I MUCH prefer the manuals now.

You have a lucky friend!
Altsmoke has both the SI-Volts and the eGo Twists. I,like Jen, like both of those. (AS also has color choices for those interested in colors, like moi'). The eGo Twist (and Volt too!) really is as great as everybody claims it to be. The Kanger clearomizer with changeable coils (new version with new and improved mouthpieces) are exceptionally nice. When I pick up a huge mod now, I feel ridiculous because the little ET puts out *almost* as good a vape. (very very satisfying, but not outrageously so, just awesomely so).

Uma, thanks... we are on the same page so why don't you tell me whatever comes to mind in terms of beginner juices?

Details: this is my friend's dad, actually, so a bit of a seasoned smoker so to say...

I have found when I talk to people new to vaping, they want "cigarette" flavor. I agree that RY4 or 555 is a fairly good starter. You know that nothing tastes like the "real thing". I've noticed that a lot of menthol smokers tend to gravitate to sweet and/or fruity flavors.

I made a little starter kit for someone and had a couple of tobacco type flavors, fruit and peppermint. All different nic levels too. I wouldn't go too big on the batts...remember we all wanted as close to what we were used to when we started.

Oh dear! That's asking the impossible I'm afraid, because it's so subjective. However, with that said, I would try for a variety of sample flavors for him to try, style of flavors, as well as pg/vg ratio's.
He'll just have to shell out like the rest of us do, to find the perfect for him vape.
With that said, Pink Spot Vapor has sample sizes and the bottles work great in a Reo Grand.
Cowboy, G-Spot, Jamaican me Crazy, Black Mamba, and more. They have so many flavors! I hear Swagger is really good too, but haven't yet tried that one.

On avg, the most popular flavors from anywhere? RY4,555, Red Bull, TAB, Cappuchino, Grape, egads, dearheart!, what are you trying to do to me? I can't possibly answer your question!
Hand him a list of places that have sample sizes and say "go for it!!" lol

Seeing's how the thread is dead, I will shout to the world how happy I am that my gSon's echocardiogram came back crystal clear and clean!!! All is good in that area of his life. :)
A little bit different results with my daughters echo, however, she has a good 10-20 years before the problems turn into PROBLEMS. So, I smile with happiness for today. :)
