Landslide by Smashing Pumpkins

(sorry about the video but it's the only studio version of the song on youtube)

Original in Fleetwood Mac and the almighty Stevie Nicks:

3:31 seconds into this original video is one of the most beautiful stage moments in the history of mankind.

CONGRATS to hittman!! happy.gif

..... At the end of the 3rd, 6th and 9th day Aroma will choose a favorite from that trimester's submissions and the winners will each receive one 10ml bottle of Aroma WTA, any flavor of their choice (in stock).

When the contest is over, we will choose one additional winner through random.org.

Not really a rule, but because it's an individual choice which is always personal, I mentioned the reason for the choice. The next choice could be for different criteria.....or not. I am playing each one and I guess it will come down to... which did I enjoy the most? Because it's a personal choice, I included a 4th prize chosen by random number generation, as long as the submission is valid. I hope you're all just enjoying playing other folks' choices.

Wow, this round was harder than I thought it would be. Lots of great songs. I narrowed it down to three, two... one. And the winner is;
Hitman who submitted Hayseed Dixie doing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (post 208).

It made me laugh, I love the quirkiness, the boys can sing and basically it makes me happy. Congrats.

The last leg starts now...

Not to detract from the Winners, but I am confused about the judging for the songs... since the way it was stated in the OP implies that there would be more than one person doing it.

Taste in music is as subjective as somebody's taste in e-juice, and I don't think it's really fair to leave it up to only one person...

Just my :2c:

A great rendition of a well-known Son Huasteco or Huapango song from Mexico, as done by The Tubes... who are probably [and sadly] best known for their song "White Punks on Dope"... :D

Love these guys!!! :thumb: (sorry I couldn't find a clip of them doing this live)

And here is a clip of the actor/singer who did one of the most famous versions:

I did collaborate with others regarding my choices and in each choice there was strong support. However, even that represents subjectivity. That said, there is no right or wrong in a submission that follows the rules, nor is there in the final choice; there cannot be a definitive rule for choosing a winner in this contest.

I posted my feelings as to why the choices were made, but I also stated that doesn't necessarily denote the next choice. We've enjoyed your submissions and hope you continue to post.... you never know.

Jethro Tull's version of the fifth movement from Suite in E minor for Lute (Bourrée in E minor), by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Although they misspelled it, and the piece was originally written for the LUTE, not the Flute... ;) LOL!!

Here is an example of it played as it was intended... :)
