I'll start by saying I love snacks, homemade cookies and cake, licorice or just candy in general. Always had candy on my desk or in my drawer at work and the folks that worked around me loved the benefits.

Since I started vaping my sweet tooth is gone, well not really some of it I get from the juice but the candy and snacks are gone. Don't get me wrong, since I started vaping I lost 9 lbs.

Anyone else experience this once they started?

And before anyone starts I feel real good and to my knowledge there is nothing wrong with me...... physically anyway.

I ate a lot of sweets when I was a child, but once I joined the military I turned to junk food. Ever since I started vaping I actually eat less food and don't eat any sort of candy or bakery treats except the occasional cookie.

I have a raging sweet tooth, to the point that I"ll go through the kitchen and pantry opening and slamming drawers and cabinets even when I know there's nothing in there. Once I ate nearly a whole box of graham crackers because it was the only thing I could find. Blech! Since I"ve added some fruits and dessert flavors to my vaping I find I can tame the craving with a few long and slow drags. I've completely cut out between meal snacking and am satisfied with just one square of dark chocolate at bedtime. I've also been steadily losing weight.

I don't have a sweet tooth, but a salty (pizza, cheeseburger) tooth. I vape mostly fruit, candy flavors. I wanna see some cheese burger juice.....my pizza flavor is currently steeping. Hahaha:blush:
I saw a pizza flavor and thought" who the hell would buy that?". But then found myself wanting to get, just to see. Let me/us know how it goes. Heard some horror stories about a bacon juice that nobody seemed to like and never could get the flavor out of their tanks. Hope its not the same.

I found it for you. :D

It's all about this new taste and smell I enjoy now. I eat everything. Even Mrs. Kodiak's "mystery" casserole. Soon my ... won't fit in my recliner anymore which is the only exercise I get. (Up, Down, pull that damned lever... it never ends I tell ya!).

I have also acquired vaper's sweet tooth. I'm enjoying some watermelon and bubblegum juice right now. I used to only vape tobaccos.

 Well at least I know where it's going now!

I'll definitely let you know how it vapes. Smelled it on vape mail day, and damn.....it smelled just like pepperoni pizza. I'm not gonna wait with baited breath, but I just had to try it. Gonna let it steep the obligatory week before I give it a go. I've got a fat tire in the fridge just waiting for the pizza/beer combo. Giggity! :toast:

At first I lost weight, since I was sitting around vaping instead of stuffing my face while waiting for the next commercial so I could run outside to smoke. :D But now... well I seem to have recovered my appetite, not as much for snacking as I used to, when I was jonesing for a smoke, but for actual *meals* -- I seem to enjoy my food a lot more than I remember enjoying it before I quit smoking; even boring food like Tater Tots, now I'm all over it. :D I don't know if I've actually gained any weight, but it's possible; there is something about quitting smoking that seems to always mean a weight gain, something about basal metabolic rate getting reset or some medical jargon like that. But I don't know if that applies to quitting when replacing nicotine, or not.

Yes yes. Nicotine being a stimulant does increase the resting metabolic rate, I think vaping considerably helps this. But vaping gives folks the oral fixation fix/ sweet or salt tooth fix so they don't add calories to a already slowing metabolism. Plus, we don't get winded when getting out and about to enjoy some good ol' fashioned visceral experience. Win, win.

I've went from 259 (December doc appointment, before vaping) to 241 (May doc appointment, 3 months into vaping), but I think its the combination of things. More breath=more exercise. Sweeter juices=less snacking. Taste buds coming back=less junk food (for me anyway). But over all I'm just happy I lost some!

And if anyone finds it, go ahead and use it...I didn't want it in the first place! :D

I also lost weight (about 10 lbs) when I started (last Fall). Got through the winter without gaining anything (usually I pick up about 10 pounds over the winter). Since then it's stabilized (alas, about 15 lbs too soon!).

Edit: Not to mention, any other time I tried to quit smoking I packed the weight on like nobody's business!
