Fully depleting the battery and then plugging it back in resets it. It's now reading the resistance. In case anyone else encounters this. :toast:

thanks for the answers, just went through this with my OpusD.. it took forever for the battery to deplete itself after the message shows up : check battery

guess I have an older version dna20 in OpusD. Which makes me wonder with the dna20 modders board, same dilemma?

Drew or any other Opus D owners,

Would you know why or what causes the Opus D to display "Check Battery" when there is plenty of battery life left (about 70% per the display meter)?

It happens a couple times a day, I push the button and that message appears and then goes right away and it fires.

I'm just a little concerned and wasn't sure if maybe there's a wire connection issue or if this is normal and I know it only comes with a 90 day warranty and I got it last week.

Thanks for any help and vape on!

When it first cycles on and has been sitting, it times out and the battery indicator goes up slowly. SO if it is in sleep, when you push the button it may show low battery every now and then until the indicator catches up. Its not a problem....Thanks,
Drew

Thanks Drew!
