My Opus was from pretty early on, and I had to sent it in to get worked on, and Roger upgraded mine to the new button, and it is harder to push than the other one, not an issue for me though.
This is purely subjective, but I like the not so easy button which makes it more pocket friendly for me...Im a top pocket guy that didnt where shirts without pockets for years due to my cigarette habit...But I still reach for them after not smoking all this time...I also have a Juke phone that I carry ALL the time for my other business which has hit the Opus button once or twice and fired and heated up a carto...Nothing catastrophic or anything just a hot pocket! Now I am in the habit of turning the button AWAY from other things in my pocket.
Its not so much that it is HARDER to push as it is that you have to have your finger centered to push the the button in, as the button is slightly indented under the sealed cover.
Like I said this purely personel preference I think and unless you have two or more, one would never even notice it...

Agreed.

I think the word "harder" is maybe the wrong word, it takes a more deliberate press of the button perhaps. I've never had a problem with the old button or the new though. I usually wear cargo pants, and my mods go in the cargo pocket with nothing attatched, I had one bad experience a while back and just decided that its too easy to unscrew tanks or atties, and the two seconds it takes is nothing.

I had an issue with my opus and it was replaced by the good fella's at OPUS. There are definitely some small differences. The top and bottom caps now have 4 screws rather than 2. The button is a little stiffer (couldn't notice if you weren't holding another older in your hand). The wood is a lighter color, and the mod feels EVER so slightly lighter. The end caps were made thinner then the previous just slightly and the charging port is slightly bored out around the hole. Also looking inside, the chip is much different then the last OPUS chip that was in my previous opus. Still love the opus, works flawlessly....just set it and forget it!

EDIT: Also, the plus and minus on the top are made smaller now along with the drip catch (ring around the 510) being smaller/thinner then the previous

Honestly , I haven't really looked because it seems so pocket friendly for me... I almost always have one in my top pocket, but ALL the shirts I wear have top pockets...Old habits die hard I guess...I should prolly look around for a case I guess...I do have a bedside holder cause I knocked it off the table once or twice and I have a couple really sweet desk holder that hold an assortment of mods...
I order them from Marks Pens...
index Page 16.

He will cut them out to hold almost anything...He does a nice job and is very resonable on prices...That was the highlight of my the Vapestock in Florida as far as the gear I saw when I was there...He had a ton of stuff laid out there, so it was cool to be able to see the actual sizes and colors. The pictures on his site don't really do them any justice. Not that they are bad pictures but you really can't see the finishes as well as in person...
Anyways, I will do some searching for cases and see if I can find something.

You do man Drew! I'd only like to have a case for it because I'm a grease monkey and it becomes a pain to have to wash my hands or find a rag just to take a vape.

I've talked to Tim over at Serenity Gear leather and he said if someone could send him the size specs for it he'd see if he could work up a sleeve for it. Just an idea. :toast:

 I've tried gloves, but they become a pain. I like to be able to feel what I'm doing when working. I certainly would wear white gloves anywhere in the vicinity of where I work. You'e just asking for trouble if you do that.

I always keep my eyes peeled for cases like that when I'm at the store(s). But I've yet to ever find one that I really liked, or that seemed to fit the Opus well. I always do a test fit when I see them in the store. But thanks for the links! :toast:

Not sure the exact dimensions of the Opus, but something like this maybe?
Ripoffs CO - 78
Ripoffs CO - 140a

I have a few pens from Mark, his work is absolutely amazing! I really want one of his cup holder mod holders for my car :)
