Wow, my timing was pretty darn good, then. I just happened to stroll on over there yesterday to see if you'd added the product to the site yet, just looking for more pics and description and fully expecting to see it marked "sold out" . . . but it wasn't and I got an order in :D Even though I'm not totally sold on the form factor, I still am very eager to see this bad boy up close and personal

Wow, I didn't realize this thing was so tiny! I was totally expecting it to be half again the size of what it is, so that's a very pleasant surprise. It's comfortable to hold in the hand, the weight is nice. I like it so far after the initial unboxing, just getting it fully charged up right at the moment. Will probably bring it with me for the workday tomorrow to get a solid impression of it

Well, I brought it to work with me today and I must say I really dig this little beast :)

The button is great, not likely to fire in my pocket even if I don't lock the device yet still comfortable to press to vape. The pot wheel is great, only took a couple minutes to get a good feel for it. Not once did I adjust it by accident, either, which was one of my initial worries due to its location. Size, weight and shape all feel good in the hand and it fits nicely in a shirt pocket, even with a tank on top. Even the color is starting to grow on me a little bit ;-)

I'd say the only downside is the texture. The feel of the anodizing is almost akin to a chalkboard. It's not nearly as unpleasant as that, though, that was just what came to mind when thinking of how to describe it. I'm sure I'll grow accustomed to it over time and it will probably smooth out some from handling, but even so it's only a minor thing.

My Darwin is currently on backup duty while I run this thing through its paces, I'm sure it appreciates the reprieve :p

Drew, I must ask forgiveness for being a doubter. This little mod has so far exceeded my expectations and it's been in my hands for only a day :toast:

It has a similiar weight to Darwin. I kinda like the texture and its not really chalk boardy only if you use your finger nail, the texture has a light grippy touch, but barely, it so small that sometimes I keep pushing the dial LOL.

kinda happy that the fire button is not dead center to firing it, I can fire it from pushing on the outer edges of the button.

Thank you Drew

Wow ... Great pics guys...Funny I just read that post and tried firing mine from the outer edge and was able to fire mine also...The texture of the finish is peculiar and I have to admit I didn't really notice much about it until I read and heard some of the comments...It is a bead blast that is applied after machining and before anodizing. For those that had some of the older Darwins, they would remember that you could see some of the tooling or machining marks and sometimes you would see color variations from the top to the bottom. This process seems to make the finish very uniform and also takes the sheen away.
If you look at Sacker's Photo above next to the other device you can see how the difference in the sheen.
