i don't know. I've run into people like that in person, it's never fun, and they tend to push people into anger and frustration. It's never fun to deal with, especially a place like this that's normally 100% supportive and patient.
I also highly doubt he's a super taster. They're very rare, and I worked with one, and she most certainly does not cleanse her palette with grape juice or coffee, that's just funny!

I'm really nice in person. Really! But, I'm just as pedantic as I am on here, though.
As I can only speak for myself on this, maybe I did ride him a little hard on things, and not just on that thread, too. It's just that people who act the way he did really rub me the wrong way, and take it as a personal challenge to prove questionable theories wrong, like the oranges being more acidic as was stated in this thread.

We've suggested everything! But he's insistent on making some revolutionary discovery in either clearomizers or vaping as a whole. We've tried to get him off of clearomizers, but he doesn't like carto tanks and seems to think he has an allergy to Kanthal so rebuilding hasn't been his thing either.
He keeps remembering how great the juices tasted in a Cisco atomizer, but doesn't like the advice that has been given to him to care and feed it properly so it was burnt up while he attempted to clean it some how. But rather than stick with what he liked, the Cisco, he keeps coming up more theories of what is wrong with the industry as a whole and accusing us of all being shills from clearomizer companies.
It's been a hot mess! We've all tried and tried, and even continue to try, but it's as if there is something in his personality that DOESN'T want this to work or he has to become renowned as a revolutionary in the vaping industry.
Then his condescending and belittling "jabs" are thrown in for good measure. I don't think there's a one of us that wouldn't love for him to get something to work for him, but there's only so much you can do.
I have been as insulted, trampled and frustrated by the man as anyone else BUT I really don't think anything is served by continuing to discuss him while he is absent and cannot in any way defend himself. Sorry guys I just have a sick sense of fair play I guess.

I never had any real Problem with GN.
Sure, he would go On and On with his Posts. And yeah... He has some Very Unusual Theories on Many Things. But Not a Guy. And whether he Intended it or Not, his threads were Often Hysterically Funny.
I think in many ways, Some People take someone like GN way Too Serious. And they come Crashing In like the Cool-Ade Man to point out All that Is Wrong, in their Opinion, with a GN Post/Thread.
But that is Forum Life. I done it Myself from Time to Time. We ALL have.
