I have been as insulted, trampled and frustrated by the man as anyone else BUT I really don't think anything is served by continuing to discuss him while he is absent and cannot in any way defend himself. Sorry guys I just have a sick sense of fair play I guess.
I agree with you, but also disagree. I agree that it's not good form to talk about him when he's not here, but I disagree with the point about anything being served by continuing the discussion. We, myself included, are acting like he is not in the same room with us, so he can't possibly hear what we are saying. But this is the internet, and from the looks of it, it's just a posting suspension, not a complete IP access block. He can still access this forum, and see what others are saying.
I'm hoping that he does see what people really think about him, and because he cannot answer right away, he stops and thinks about things. Maybe some self reflection, asking questions like "Why do these people treat me this way?" or really, "What am I posting that causes people to act like this?" I look at it this way, you can always go from nice to jerk, but you can never go from jerk to nice. If he didn't have such a know-it-all attitude, and was more open minded, I bet people, including myself, would have treated him much different.
Finally, I would like to say that I am sorry for pushing so hard with my last post on that thread. I should have just walked away, but it was just so hard. In the future, I'm not going to say that I'm going to avoid his threads, but I am going to try to be just an observer.
