QUOTE=MaddLungS;9812536]I had that same issue yesterday after the first time i attempted to clean my poldy. By far the hardest switch to take apart and to make sure everything is properly put back together. I found the culprit after my third time i took it apart. Pieces of the delrin plastic some how was shredded in side, blocking the little connection pin...try looking into that.[/QUOTE]

I had this problem with my new one. Took the switch apart three times before I found the little bugger.

Oh and - This is only my opinion so :)~

I don't find the button complicated at all. 2 screws, a button with a magnet on the back and another magnet resting in button housing. If I pull apart the whole thing, clean everything and put back together... Probably about 5 minutes. Mileage and taste/preference varies o'course.

So Cal
took apart my aname for the first time. It wasnt as difficult as i've "heard". Now taking apart a transmission with all those parts is a pain. was sort of a PITA getting the magnet i the correct spot. first time it was slightly off center which caused misfires but thats fixed now.

in regards to cleaning. specifically the way cloud wizard posted in the mmforums

do you just rub the parts in baking soda in your hand ?

then put in a shot glass with water and shake

then another shot glass with PGA, then that's it ? How do you clean the female thread. I ended up using a similar method to tonytigers method but with silver polish for the female threads

I haven't done the baking soda method, mainly because its abrasive and don't want to remove any of the plating. I just used the DeoxIT kit above and seems to work great. I'm curious how long the Gold will protect from oxidation, hoping to go extended periods between cleanings. I sprayed into the caps and used Q-tips on everything except the female threads, I sprayed them out. I applied the Gold with Q-tip to all parts including the females. It leaves a thin oily layer on everything but no odor or thick gunk like Noalox does. I never could stand the black gummy threads or turpintine smelling carrier of Noalox. If this stuff holds up it will be a winner. I used it on the Poldiac and Reo Mini and they both seem to be hitting harder than ever. I did a lot of reading on this stuff and the high end audiophiles really praise it, that was good enough for me to give it a try. If you just search DeoxIT on google you can find different applicators and better prices than RatShack.

Hey guys i seem to have a problem with my poldiac uma, it doesnt seem to fire when i put a kanger pro tank on, can anyone help please?

Did you adjust the center pin on the poldiac to ensure contact? Also...don't screw that protank down too hard...it's cheap and you'll bend that center post into its side and short it out.

Cool thanks, i took one of the wicks out aswell and its working fine now. Its my first time of using it, i purchased it on wednesday, sorry if it was a dumb question lol. Thanks again wow it seems a decent throat hit and clouds, loving it, got some grants vanilla custard in it, first time trying that aswell lol. i put some in a v3 clearomizer earlier on a zmax and it tasted really sickely but on the poldiac with protank it seems to have a different flavour im quite impressed.

Cheers again :)

Just spent an hour cleaning my poldiac and did, also made the perfect coil at 1.5 ohm with 0 hot spots on the first try. The more time I spend with my poldiac the more I love it :)

Poldiac & DID... Just can't be beat. Looks, function, easy set up. Man, I <3 MMV. There is not one short coming with their devices. Every time I get a new toy I compare it to the Poldiac and DID... The others all fall short in one way or another.

Couldn't have said it better, not to mention the awesome customer service.
