Thanks BoREDagain!
What a great pic Kamoch! Is your inner tube shiny like your button? I thought the full satin meant everything, including the inner tube was satin. I'm so confused. The inner tube & button, both, on mine is shiny. Do I call it the full satin or do I call it the MWTH or do I call it Jane Doe?

When I got the Belial I thought the button would be satin as well. I asked MMVapors about it and they said they can't do a satin button because the locking ring scratches it up quickly. Now for the inner tube the part that shows is satin but the part covered by the pants is still polished, I would assume for the same reason about it being scratched.

In that case, mine fits the Full Satin description. Besides, after re-reading the MWTH description, I see I missed the shiny end caps description. I should know better than to read when I'm hyped out lol.
The description for the Full Satin says "Full Satin from head to toe". (but nothing about inside and out).
By jove, I think I've got it. :D Thanks Bo!!

Full satin button received in January - it is not scratched - perhaps you should ask Jim himself. This is the only button I own.

The response I got was from Elias. I have noticed that no current models have a full satin button. Perhaps they just don't make them at all now for whatever reason.

I haven't done the baking soda method, mainly because its abrasive and don't want to remove any of the plating. I just used the DeoxIT kit above and seems to work great. I'm curious how long the Gold will protect from oxidation, hoping to go extended periods between cleanings. I sprayed into the caps and used Q-tips on everything except the female threads, I sprayed them out. I applied the Gold with Q-tip to all parts including the females. It leaves a thin oily layer on everything but no odor or thick gunk like Noalox does. I never could stand the black gummy threads or turpintine smelling carrier of Noalox. If this stuff holds up it will be a winner. I used it on the Poldiac and Reo Mini and they both seem to be hitting harder than ever. I did a lot of reading on this stuff and the high end audiophiles really praise it, that was good enough for me to give it a try. If you just search DeoxIT on google you can find different applicators and better prices than RatShack.

In case your interested in more on de-oxit - it use to be discussed in Zenisis thread - it was causing people issues.

NO-OX-ID. I do not recommend using DeOxit Gold because it can leave a residue over time that inhibits electrical connections. It's intended use is a one time application to prevent oxidation on parts that are going to be soldered and it does that very well, but for something like a PV that is going to need to be cleaned and re-treated periodically, it has and will cause issues over time.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep it in mind. The audiophiles were using it for non soldered connections with good results. So far results are good for me. On the three devices I've used it on, it's cleared up issues I was having with them. It could just be the results of the cleaning rather than the protective step.

Oh ok then, because a shiny brass button would scratch much quicker than SS. Brass is much softer metal. Shiny SS button would scratch quicker than brushed SS. So all that being said - brushed SS button would be best of all re: scratches.

I can verify that I use the De-Oxit products on all of my guitars and gear...and it works like a charm. However, I myself would be leary of using it on any ecig device. I'd rather just keep things clean the old-fashioned way. May have to do it more often...but I feel better about it IMO... ;)

Vape Well....and quite often,

Brian

For some reason today I got to wondering if anybody has ever set these up for stacked batts with the button in the middle? Seems like it would work with two 18350 tubes. Just set it up like bottom button and instead of bottom cap add second tube. If I had two tubes I'd try it. If somebody has the pieces could you at least take some pics of it set up like that? I'm not really into HV vaping but curiosity is killing me.
