joined the club today. 18350 aname

was looking for a 18650 but thats all they had at the shop. scooped up the last one. ordered a 18650 tube and pants for it. along with extra springs from mmvapors

to all the experts. what kind of routine maintenance should I do to this.

watched a vid online already. that delrin piece in the top cap is a PITA. i scratched the delrin piece screwing it in the top cao. Is this piece necessary if im not going to run it as a bottom fire ? well i guess it's in now so I dont want to risk scractching my top cap trying to get it out

Hi!

Welcome to the Poldiac Club! :toast: To my knowledge, the silver post- plate that screws into the delrin piece is the only thing you have to add if you're going to use the button in bottom firing mode. Otherwise, the plate is un-necessary. I use mine in normal mode and still have the delrin piece screwed in. ;)

As far as maintenance goes, I just clean my contacts now and then with a moist soft rag and Presto! Good as new. Plus I polish my pants and shirts on occassion...when I want something nice and shiinnnyyyyyyy. :)

vape Well,

Bri

Hoey's "poor man" modstand!!

Nice collection, Hoey!

I've been thinking about making one of those myself. I have a lonely piece of Tiger Oak that needs a purpose... ;)

Good job!

zau poldiac uma.jpghey...im glad this thread appeared..im just thinking about picking up a second one...DID legacy ZEN SW ZAU Poldiac.jpgzen products and a poldiac.jpgsub ohm zau on poldiac.jpg...i have to agree with whoever i was debating the pros and cons of a zau on another thread: personally I love my ZAU, however, the did hits MUCH harder at the same ohms than the ZAU....Huge difference- the ZAU is a voltage sucker and I was wrong earlier....

Hey Congrats! The delrin piece in the top cap just lays flat across the center pin, does NOT screw in first, the metal piece screws in OVER the plastic while it is LOOSELY in switch part of the mechanism....Then it threads without a problem!!!

The delrin piece goes in first, into the switch, just lays across the top part of the switch without threading, threads facing down, then the metal piece screws in no problem!!! Do not try to thread the plastic up to the metal ring first, it works much simpler the other way around....plastic threads down laying across the silver post, metal circular threads DOWN into switch mechanism to close it!

Holy Moly D, your cruelty knows no bounds... That my friend is an amazing setup! Question, are the top cap, button and bottom cap standard satin? They almost look media blasted next to the highly polished batt tube and clothes.

What makes this such a good dripper Dspin?
My first thought was "man that dripper is HUGE!"

Its totally freaking awesome Miriam and so easy to setup - I just posted some set-up pics - so you can see what its all about.

Incredible photo Dspin!

I'm tempted to get back on the list for one. They're highly praised by those who've tried everything. I just wish they had better payment setup.

Yes - for me its Moneygram at the Walmart

Yes CW - standard satin caps and button. My original P was all shiny SS w/satin caps. The brass is now an addition - brass was quite brand new when that pic was taken and had 3 treatments of sharkhide on it.

P as SS w/satin caps when I first got it

Got my 18650 Aname today. I've had a Standard DID sitting on a Vamo for months. Naturally it belonged on the Poldiac. So, that's where it went. So far, this thing is spectacular.

Cool...another Floridian! Excellent.

Yes, I was surprised how well the Poldiac hits.... like a train. :toast: Welcome to the Poldiac Club, Rule62.
