I'd like to see some copper shirts and pants for these. I'd let mine get a green/blue patina. It would really look good on an all brass setup.

True...that would look cool. It would make for a nice antique-ish "steampunk" look. :toast: Kind of like the way ancient Roman and Greek bronze statues get that wonderful shiny blueish-green patina. Mmm...nice.

I think copper would look cool but I think there are some folks who are allergic to the copper oxides. My Dad had one of those copper health bracelets to let early responders know what meds he was on, etc and after a while of wearing it the inside turned his skin an awful color. He got an allergic rash from it and had to switch to a SS bracelet. Still, would look really nice.

MonsterKenny torched his Brass and it turned out great. He also polished it back to norm. There are spray polishes/protectors that will keep the look. When I get an extra pair of slacks, I'm going to attempt such a torch. Pics are in the DID Foto album somewhere...

Waves hi to Villixia(sp)!! Hey guy!!
That's a fun idea. Stiff (modder of the Hammer and the Groove Pipe) made some for his Poldiac. Awesome combos!! Also, Aname' made some leather pants for hers. Again, totally awesome. I wish I were creative with stuff like you guys are. The only creativity in my blood, is coming up with ways to get out of doing chores...

I had to replace a pyrex tank on my short DID a while back, after I had cracked the original. I got a replacement from Phiniac, and it was a little loose. The glass turned easily on the o rings, and it seeped a little juice. I fixed it with a couple wraps of dental floss in the grooves under the o rings.

That's a good trick. Never heard it before but cheap/easy fixes are +++1=10
