Good morning! Still overcast here, I'm hoping for sun one of these days. Not sure of the temp, but the deck is covered in ice. blech.
Forced into work today on my normal day off. Fortunately Larry showed up and I got to leave before 8 hours!

Deicer landed Thursday. Friday night I laid it on top of the 2" thick ice and this morning its almost all melted. Only thing I'm not liking is some are swimming around. YEA. Just finished filling their sleeping tubs as I call then. Going to give the dechlorinate a few hours then in they come. Next on the list is running a extension cord to the chicks and getting their deicer in the bucket. Then inside for Turtle filter changing day. Last on the list is a Peanut butter pie for hubby. Took off today to get her done. The good thing about self employment you work when you want.
I can't like missing turtles. I hope you find the other 2 and that they are okay.
Drott, you need a new filter or a UV light. I have UV in the koi pond for the past 2 years and the water is actually clear. No more pea soup pond. Worth the $$.
Today I finish decorating cookies, then I think I'm going to start cutting out another quilt. Of course the one I just finished is sitting there pressed and folded and waiting to be quilted. It's too cold in the basement to quilt it in winter, I'll have a few to do in summer. Mr. V said something about heat down there, but I'm not holding my breath, he has more than enough to do as it is.

Raises hand. Have a older 6 qt Phillips its a bare to clean it has a wire basket. We use it mostly for frozen stuff cheese sticks onion rings etc. It has pretty much replaced our fryer. Getting a new one for Christmas that looks much easer to clean. Then will experiment with real food. This is the one I just got on cyber Monday for 59.00 Farberware 6-Quart Digital XL Air Fryer Oven its 99.now and sold out.

I have an oil fryer that I don't use much because it's messy. I always wondered if the air fryers worked. Waiting to hear how the new ones do.

Add to my "Life's Irritations" list - got rear-ended on the way home from work yesterday. I was stopped in the left lane behind a guy turning left, WHAM! Young girl wasn't paying attention. Her car got the worst of it, one headlight was on the road, the other was crushed, her hood was all bent up. She bent my rear liftgate though, that will be a bear to repair. And I don't have any time to deal with this during the holidays! Working 6 days a week, anywhere from 10-12 hours a day. <sigh>
