howdy doo Posseeeeee

Nothing new here on the job front. Still hopeful on the two potentials that are there.

We got an email from our CEO stating "Happy Employee Appreciation Day!".... Which also happens to be the day that we laid off our entire work force. But, because the one employee I had left was absolutely amazing, I took him out for drinks. Afterall, he was no longer my employee.... Aside from losing from having to fire a friend, it's been a good day.

I probably wont be back on until Monday. Maybe. I never see Kat any more... Shes 17 and all of her time is spent at work, school, or with friends/boyfriend. No, i didnt have a say in THAT either. But, it is what it is. Melanie asked to spend the weekend with a friend. CJ was the only one who wanted to have a weekend with me. So, I'm going to go watch his soccer practice in the morning, then take him to the shooting range for the first time. I'm looking forward to it. I think he is too. There are a handful of things I hope hes willing to help with around the house too. Like cleaning up the rocks/crystals we got last week. We'll see.

I hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Crap! Water on the basement floor. Water heater leaking. This one only lasted 3yr 10months. It replaced one that lasted 5yr 6months. Mrs Punkin and I don't like COLD showers, especially well water cold...

I wonder if the expensive ones last any longer. Plumbers are more expensive.

We love ours. It takes getting used to as you turn on the hot, then add cold as needed. It does take about a minute to give the hot water in winter because our well is ice cold, but then it is endless hot. Downside, you can stand in the shower all day. Upside, the bill is less and you never have to wait for the water heater to recover. We added a small one at the work hut in '14, it does the restroom and 'kitchen' sinks. Never an issue with the little one either. We did that one to get the huge tank one out of the restroom, now it's the small one under the sink.

Victor is running around losing his last marble. This morning I swiped all his soft toys, tied them in a pillowcase and tossed them in the wash. I just brought the pillowcase up and dumped it out in his toy basket. He's so excited all his fuzzy buddies are back, he has the zoomies.
