Try it in the recliner in front of the tv next time That's my preferred cereal for supper spot.

That is our normal spot. We each have a recliner chair in front of the TV and we hardly ever eat in the dining room or the kitchen any more. Regular TV programming sucks and we cut the cord years ago. Now we just watch something on U-tube or Plex while we eat. :)

We switched from AC to heat the other day. I was going to just use the gas fireplace for supplemental heat until the weather got a lot colder but just found out they broke the fireplace this Summer when they installed a FREE mandatory safety recall kit. I really don't want to call them back to fix it because they didn't know what they were doing. The place where we bought it went out of business so the manufacture sent this guy to install the safety kit. There is the possibility that it was done correctly and something else just crapped out but it use to work fine and now it doesn't. :( The good news is the new heating system we had installed last Winter is working great so we really don't have to be in a hurry to get the fireplace fixed. I did send an email to the manufacture to see if they will send some other company out to take a look at it before I schedule a service call.

Yuck punkin, we normally avoid service people coming unless we have absolutely no choice. The internet guys damaged the laundry room sink working next to it and didn't say anything. :grr:

We've been heating for a few weeks now, I liked not having a wood rack in the hut all summer but it's back. :(

Were aloud a burn ring. They did away with burn barrels years ago. So after retirement I got a 3 ft round fire ring. I'm sure the Boro wouldn't like were I have it. 98% of what we burn is tree limbs and ones I cut down. There's a few more I need to get to, thank goodness their only 6''- 8''round. Trash men get the household trash. So I have years and years of stuff to burn. But I'll get caught up someday.:lol: Help would make it go faster but hubby's not cooperating. Just likes that its getting done.
