Anyone got a recipe for roasting a duck? I have one I'm going to roast today, and I'm trying to think of how to stuff it and roast it properly.
Their good for baking that way. 5-8na day letting the duck eggs in the nest hoping one of them get the idea. 15 in there so far.I can try that too. One of our customers said she cracks her extra eggs into baggies and freezes them. That's worth a try too. I'm at an average of 17 per day now. Holy moly.....
I really wish I had some fresh curds to try this...
I did do this one, and it made some of the best popcorn I've ever tasted.BACON LOVERS heres one for ya.
My Grams always made it like this. But no bacon bits or cheese.I crumble real bacon up in mine but skip the cheese.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup bacon grease
3/4 cup unpopped popcorn kernels
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
3 tablespoons bacon bits (optional)
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
Directions:
1.
Measure the bacon grease into a 6 quart pot and place over high heat. Add one or two popcorn kernels as testers. When the test kernels pop, add the rest of the popcorn and cover with a lid. As the popcorn starts to pop, shake the pan back and forth constantly to keep the unpopped kernels on the bottom where they can pop. When the popping slows down, remove the pan from the heat and let it finish popping.
2.
Pour the popcorn into a large bowl or paper sack. Season with half of the seasoned salt and stir. Taste before adding more salt if desired. Toss with bacon bits and shredded Cheddar cheese for an extra special treat. Store leftovers in lunch sacks or sandwich bags.
Um... I did.Psssh James, they would be all melted and gross by the time they got there. You should have reminded me while it was cold out. Because I forgot. oops.
If you're trying to make me feel bad, it's not working. Nice try though.CJ women to with me to the gun shop to get my AR. When he got in the car, the door squeaked. He said "Wow, squeaky door. Hey that reminds me, when can we have more squeaky cheese?"
