Tracking on mine shows expected delivery today, but the last scan was on the 8th when it left Kent, WA. I had it sent to my work, so I hope it arrives today, but I noticed it has signature confirmation on it, so if it arrives Saturday they're just going to give me the stupid pink slip and make me wait until Monday. I thought USPS was touting their new more informative tracking services on their advertisements, so far color me nonplussed. The inhumanity of it all!
Don't get your hopes up brother, mine were dashed to itsy bitsy pieces at about 5 pm yesterday as I staredat the front door while doing dishes. Now it SHOULD be Provari day for me and I should be excited but now Iam getting a litttle nervous because I only have a pt2 and an aspire bdc for toppers. Can anyone recommend an upgrade? Not fully given up on clearos but ready to do some exploring, had one carto experience with a cheap carto tank(leaky and didn't meet my vapor production needs). Any suggestions? Hhhmmm, cheap and leaking in the same sentence together? No Way! LOLOL seriously tho if you get a good carto tank set up, it does work great. IBtanked are awesome, easy to fill, easy to use and I thought had great results.
Its funny you say that, I just purchased a pt2 specifically for the provari. I know there are some reports of airflow issues, but I'm handy with a dremel. I have been really happy with my PT mini's performance over the past 2 weeks, and I want to get into simple coil building before saving up for a Russian or KFL.
As for tanks, everyone's suggestions are great, but to be honest I have been using a cheap smok DCT and the UDCT for my last 2 years if vaping without an issue. The DCT's bottom cap is getting pretty marred up now and should probably be replaced, but for a piece of plastic and 2 chromed pieces of pot metal it holds up nicely.
I have a great local B&M (Totally Wicked) but they cater more towards the beginning vaper (no issues with that, they make a great business doing it) so I am getting to the point where I have to wait for vape mail.

I wish I liked the PT2 better, I just don't. It's too airy (don't have a dremel) and too cool of a vape for me. But I do like two of my ADV flavors in it (weird, I kno) so I use them for those flavors.
Laugh at my sorrow lol just playing, I was looking at those ibtanks.......question......will I get comparable throat hit and vapor production out of a carto? And I too have a love/hate relationship with my pt2 right meow............despise lol ...
For me, with my experiences with carto's you will get more flavor and a nice throat hit, but with less vapor. The PT mini is one of the first devices I have owned that I feel gives me youtube worthy plumes of vapor, even off of an ego battery.
I get pretty decent TH from my IBtanked but I've only tried IKV cartos. I want to try Boge too. I wasn't getting any TH from my PT2 so I may not be a good one to ask about comparing both. I'm one of those that fall into the "not a PT2 fan". Seems to be a true dividing line to the love/love not fans of those.
I just pulled the trigger on my first RBA and apparently it's suppose to give great TH so I'm excited to to try it. I've never rebuilt anything so this should be interesting. LOLOL. But I did buy 10 prebuilt coils to go with it so if I screw up, I will just slap in a other prebuilt until either I build it correctly or run out of prebuilts and have to by more.
I use 12-16 mg on my juices and generally get good TH on all of mine except the light fruit stuff which I now avoid.

So the tradeoff of vapor production for TH is worth it huh? Is the lessened vapor production THAT noticeable to u? Iam starting to get away from my sweet flavors too....only use a pom/rasp/lime blend that makes me pucker in the sweet/sour category, 18mg nic
You and me both!! But this one seemed like a good starting point cuz they offer extra prebuilt coils so I bought 10 extra in case I screw up at least I can still use the RBA. LOLOLOLOL. I bought the Sophia byLeo, the Dbase tank, extra orings and 10 prebuilt coils in low and medium OHMs. It takes a LONG time to get so it's still not here yet.
There's a byLeo thread and everyone there is SUPER cool and very helpful. They post pics and vids to help with building the coils and stuff. Most of them own at least one ProVari plus all kinds of other mods/mech mods. I have to admit, they talk way over my head a lot. But not hard to do cuz I'm 5'3".

No you're not chasing a unicorn cuz from what the byLeo crew are saying....you can have it all! They also talk about drippers and other stuff over there. The Sophia sounded like the best of both worlds. Easy to use and GREAT flavor/TH. I was all in! There's also several YT vids about it, most are in Greek w/subtitles, but very informative.

I think it came out to around $195 +/- for the Sophia, Dbase tank, spare black orings, spare red orings, a drip tip, the Nail tool/drip tip and 10 prebuilts in ceramic cups. I bought during a sale at the end of Dec and the shipping was free. It actually wasn't a bad price at all for all that stuff. It just takes so damn long to get but hopefully will be totally worth it.
I look at I this way, I knew the ProVari was worth it when people were raving about it and bought MULTIPLE of them. They're expensive and peeps bought more than one?!?!? Same with the byLeo and people are willing to wait for them to ship from overseas. If it sucked, they wouldn't pay that kind of price AND buy more of them AND on top of all of that, wait for them to ship here.

All I can say is that I can see the light! This thing is awesome!!!! I can see a twin in the future and some new toys for them to play with
