You got me thinking.......

I cant remember what a cigarette tastes like anymore. But I do remember I coughed and spit a lot.
Yeah well, I have emphysema, COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and heart failure. Smoking would KILL ME!

flavors are liquids - usually it's PG-based. Shelf-life is questionable, but it's mostly FDA approved FOOD-flavoring, so will remain available. Worst possible case, they could try to clamp down on manufacturers so nothing was MARKETED for vaping. I don't think they can go so far as to force flavor companies to only sell to a licensed bakery. Friggin idiots.

Anyway - it will remain available from the food-flavoring companies.
I go to "The Flavor Apprentice". For other brands, buying direct is outside the U.S....so they don't have to change a thing...
Thank you! This is a huge, huge help!

One more thing, anyone know about freezing nic juice? Will it last that way?

I read somewhere nic juice was available before 2007 so, "supposedly," according to the deeming regulations, are supposed to be left alone...

I wonder if we have to turn in all our vape gear? LOL, NOT... I understand the need to have quality control on vape stuff, I really do. When the talking heads mention all the bad things about vaping, they should also mention all the bad things about alcohol, as well. I don't think anyone has vaped enormous amounts of juice and beaten anyone...

I live in Canada so luckily your FDA will never knock down my door and confiscate my copper mugs (for Moscow mules) and Riedel wine decanters and glasses. But my freezer could be involved in a sentencing hearing down the road if Canada follows what happens south of the border. Imagine getting busted for NIC-Popsicles? Hilarious.

Sadly, I'm starting to think that as the degradation of our liberties continue, the bureaucrats will become drunk with power and their atrocities will no know few boundaries.

No one is exactly sure how they'll handle nic since it's been on the market for a lot longer than vaping. It's basically the same stuff they use in NRTs. They could decide that you have to have a chemist's license to buy it, but who knows at this point. They are VERY aware that there's the possibility of a black market.

As to freezing nic, it keeps well that way. Dark glass bottles, fill so that there's very little headroom and make sure the caps have a seal that won't allow them to leak in your freezer, and that they're secure enough that they won't roll out. Our, probably longest forum registered, resident chemist has stated that it could possiblly last indefinitely that way. VG freezes better than PG because it's already thicker and sets up like glue. Always let it return to room temp before opening though, as otherwise you take the chance of producing condensation, and water is the biggest enemy.

StormFinch is right but IMO, NIC will be the only thing that will be challenging to buy for those of us with lots of mods, tanks, coils, etc. Very important piece of the vaping puzzle though.

I buy litres of 100mg NIC and also order 50ml and 100ml Boston Amber or blue glass bottles from Amazon, wash and boil them good, fill them with the NIC, put the bottles in the box they shipped in, seal it up well and put the box in a heavy grocery bag in case there is a leak, and right into the freezer. Easy peasy.

I read a post recently on ECF about a vaper that froze NIC 6-7 years ago and it hasn't degraded at all. Still the same NIC level, tastes the same, same colour, etc., so frozen NIC is good for many many years.

In your case, I would freeze most of the NIC in 250ml, 500ml and/or 1 litre GLASS bottles as freezing 12-13l in 50/100ml bottles would be a gigantic pain in the @$$ and the little bottles are not super cheap. I would just keep a year or two supply in smaller bottles and just transfer from bigger bottles as needed.

My last batch of Nic that I bought was Vapers Tek, I know that this might seem excessive, but I put all mine in 50Ml bottles and purged the oxygen out with argon gas. Then sealed the bottles, in this pic you can see a candle on the jar in the back, when the candle goes out, I know they are purged. I also wrap them in aluminum foil and food service film, the foil is to make sure no light gets to them, the film is just to keep the foil intact, and to keep the bottles some what protected. I am still using some Nic that I bought in 2013, I took it out of the freezer last week and it is still clear. I prefer the smaller bottles, that reduces the amount exposed to air while mixing, the bottle is just stored in the frig after mixing. :)

Well done Kas ... that VT is some special stuff.

On the same level as ProVape ... game changing.

All very good advice, thank you. It all doesn't seem so daunting now. We feel a lot better. If we have to end up being the vaping Bonnie & Clyde of the Thumb, it's not our fault...
